Bath Melt – Value $3 (?)

I couldn’t find anything like this in the BPure shop so I estimated the value based on similar items I’ve gotten in other handmade bath/body subscriptions. I manage to find the time to take a long bath about once a week and this is up next in the rotation to use.

Grapefruit Lip Balm – Value $2

I have so much lip balm from subscription boxes. But, this is moisturizing and has a nice summer scent so I’m going to throw it in my purse.

Handmade Soap in Lemongrass and Lavender (3.5 oz) – Value $6

I think this smells almost exactly like Stash Lemon Ginger herbal tea. I like the real bits of herb in it (see a close-up below).

Wood Soap Dish – Value $4 (?)

I really needed one of these. I have been keeping my handmade soaps in a plastic travel soap dish, but the problem is that if water collects in there, the soaps start disintegrating and then they don’t last as long. With these wooden ones, water can drain right through, keeping your soap in better shape!

Here’s a close-up of the soap.

bpurebox-june-2016-tea

Oatmeal and Coconut Milk Bath Tea (3.5 oz) + Organza Bag – Value $5 (?)

You put a little bit of the tea into the organza baggie and drop it into your bath. This made my bath smell wonderful and made my skin feel pretty nice, too. I love the big pieces of flowers, herbs, etc.

Verdict: I estimated a value of about $20 for the June BPure Box. I did have to guess at the values of some of the items, since a few of them are exclusive to the subscription and not available in the BPure shop. That is about equal to the value of the subscription and generally pretty good for a box of handmade bath and beauty items.

One thing I like about this subscription is that you do get handmade soap, but a reasonable amount that one or two people could hope to use up in a month! Plus the other items have been fun and useful, so far. I needed a soap dish like this and will use everything.

What did you think of the June BPure Box? Do you get any soap or bath subscriptions?

A quick tip on the soap dish, when it gets really gunky (it takes awhile), just put it in the dishwasher on the top rack. The untreated wood dishes don’t last forever. If you ever want to splurge, you can get beautiful, handmade draining pottery dishes on Etsy for $20-$30. 🙂
