Minnie Mouse Deluxe Water Misting Fan – Retail Value $19.99
This is a quality battery-operated fan that has an on/off switch. If you pull the trigger while the fan is on, it will mist water. It is a light, refreshing mist that will be perfect on a hot day at the beach, a theme park, or anywhere really this summer. I like that it comes with a hang strap secured with Velcro that will release in case of emergency. This is a good safety feature especially with kids. It operates on 2 AA batteries which most people have around their house, but it would have been nice for these to be included in the box. I do appreciate that it was wrapped securely in bubble wrap. Also, notice that it says Florida on it vs. Walt Disney World or something similar. More on that below. I wasn’t able to find this exact item for sale online to the public, so I have linked to a different color on Amazon. Regardless, this item is a win for us since it is useful, cute, and fun.
Minnie Mouse Beach Towel – Retail Value $16.95
This is a 100% cotton towel that comes in the standard 30 inch x 60 inch beach towel size. It does come with the Disney Store price tag on it. This design is listed on sale for $7.99, but is currently sold out. However, there are plenty of other fun styles also on sale and still available now!
Luckily for my kids, today is the first day of summer vacation! Perfect timing! Here is my daughter at 7 AM this morning putting this box to the test.
Here she is testing out the fan seconds before it slid down the railing and into the pool. I am not sure that this item is supposed to be submergible due to the batteries in it, but we can attest to the fact it works fine after being completely underwater for at least 10 seconds.

This is the second month that we are reviewing this subscription box and I want to mention two things. This box promises 3-4 items and “Hand Picked Authentic Disney Parks Merchandise.” Not everything sold in Disney parks has the Disney Parks tag, but since this is the second month in row we have now seen items without this tag, I decided to reach out to the company itself for clarification and confirmation that how they are advertising this box is accurate with what they plan to send going forward. This is also the second month where we received 2 items. While I am not concerned about being shortchanged here since we are Disney fans and love both of the items, accurate advertising is important. I will report back here when I hear from them.
Verdict: Since the misting fan sells for $19.99 and the beach towel retails for $16.95, the $34.95 price of this subscription box is around breakeven (not including the free shipping they throw in). However, if you use the $7.99 sale price on the towel before it sold out, the cost of the box would be more than the items inside.
If you love Disney and surprises like we do, Walt Life Addiction Subscription could be a great subscription box for you. We are happy with this box and have already put both items to use. We also think this would make a really nice gift!
