Each box comes with a booklet detailing the month’s products and prices. This month’s theme is “Mermaid”. All products this month are beach and sea inspired – perfect for summer!

Salt Spray

Golden Waves Sea Salt Shimmer Spray (4 oz.) – $28

This shimmer spray has golden flecks in it to add shine to your hair. It says it can be sprayed on either wet or dry and contains organic sea kelp extract, organic aloe vera and essential oils. I am excited to try this and it smells amazing!

Mask and Soak

Algae and Apricot Exfoliant Mask (2 oz.) – $32 (currently on sale for $28)

This mask comes in powder form. You mix it with a little water to form a paste then spread on your face and allow to dry. I liked this mask a lot! I’ve only tried it once so far, but after rinsing it off my skin did feel soft and appeared a bit brighter. I found a few other things on the Birchrose + Co website I’d like to try. This is a new brand for me.

Sea Goddess Nourishing Bath (5 oz.) – $10

Another new brand for me to check out! These bath salts are so cool. They come with a cloth bag so you can steep the herbs and salts in the tub as it fills up like a tea bag. Then they recommend opening the bag and pouring the salts and herbs into the tub and rubbing them on your body. This particular scent smells of mint and lavender and I found it so relaxing. I love taking baths and these salts were amazing. I’d love to try some of their other scents.

Lip Balm

Beach Rose Lip Balm – $12

I’m obsessed with this lip balm. It is so moisturizing, has just the right amount of color to look natural but with an extra dose of pretty. It has a little shine and a very faint pleasant aroma. This will be my go-to lip balm for the summer.

Swatch

This is a swatch of the Love and Sage Beach Rose Lip Balm so you can see the subtle rose color.

Verdict: Clean Beauty Box is quickly becoming my favorite natural beauty box! This box was such a big hit for me personally. The value of this month’s box was over $80. For organic beauty products I think that’s an amazing value. I think this box does a great job or putting quality above quantity. I love that Clean Beauty introduces me to so many organic and natural beauty brands that I have never tried and that they send full size products so I can really make sure I like a product before I go out and purchase more.

What do you think of this month’s Clean Beauty Box? Which product was your favorite?

  1. I want to see what the gold sea salt spray looks like!

  2. Nice review Jessica and I’ll keep my eye out for this one-looks promising as long as they keep showing new products without repeats! Oh, and thank you for taking the time to demo the lip gloss as the wrist swipes pics in reviews don’t show the product well.

    • Thank you! ☺️

  3. Is this box still available? I would LOVE it!

    • Hi Corinne,
Yes, the June boxes are still available according to their Instagram account.
      Best, Jessica

  4. Although this particular box is not for me, I really like the idea of this subscription and will consider it in the future.
