URBNBODY Rosewater Cleanser – 4 oz FULL-SIZE Value $22

I don’t love the scent of this product but it did a nice job of cleansing oil from my face. I used it this morning with a cotton ball as suggested and it was rewarding to see what this product got off my face. I found it a bit drying (makes sense as it is supposed to help with acne) and I was anxious to apply moisturizer afterward.

Blue Blossom Bath Bomb in Strawberry Champagne – Value $5.99

This bath bomb smells like a sweet perfume. To use it, just toss it into your bath water and watch it fizz.

Live Beautifully Southern Peach Rose Lip Balm – Value $5

I really like the scent of this lip balm. As I gathered product on my finger to apply, the heat made the scent change into a delicious peachy bubble gum scent. I’m into it. It applies smoothly and thinly and feels very hydrating. I prefer lip balms that I can apply straight from a tube but the sweet summery scent of this one makes it a winner.

Ariya Apothecary Anti-Aging Lavender Face Serum – Value $25

The packaging for this face serum is very nice. It came in a drawstring bag with a wax-sealed envelope. Inside the envelope was a little card with information about the product and how to use it. It says to shake well before use and apply 2-3 drops to clean, dry skin every evening. The anti-aging serum is meant to restore a youthful glow and complexion. It’s made with essential oils of Geranium, Rosemary, Frankincense, Rose See Hips and Lavender. The serum smells strongly of lavender.

Frisky Fish Essential Oil Roller in Fly – .35oz Value $14

This product smells delicious. It smells the way that Pineapple Lifesavers taste! It is a vegan formula made with pink grapefruit, ylang ylang essential oil, and a touch of coconut oil. The roller ball applicator makes this super easy to apply, I like to put it on the inside of my wrists.

Verdict: The Bridesmaid box has a value of $72, which is good for $35 + shipping. If you’re ordering this box for your bridesmaids, there are discounts available for higher quantities. I think this would be an excellent and unique gift for bridesmaids. It has brands that are new to me and it feels like a very special collection. My favorite product is the Frisky Fish Essential Oil Roller in Fly, I just love the way it smells and it’s so easy to apply and carry along.

What do you think of the Terra Bella Bridesmaid Box? Do you think it would make a good bridesmaid gift?

  1. FYI. The current plan is 37.95 for 5-6 items and the new plan will be 3-4 items for 32.95.

    • Thanks for the info! I’ve updated the part of the review about the regular subscription boxes from Terra Bella.

  2. The only item I’ve had a chance to try from this box was the serum (only because it had an expiration date of August 2016, which is understandable considering all of the natural ingredients), and it feels like it’s more suited as a face oil rather than a serum considering how (super!) thick it is. Having said that, I still use it as intended, and just use a thinner moisturizer on top. I really like it!

Thanks for the tip on the cleanser. It’s good to know that it could be drying to your skin, and I need to apply moisturizer right away. I can get distracted between steps, and when I finally get around to applying a moisturizer after a drying cleanser, I always feel like the Tin Man in that scene in The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy adds oil to his face so he can finally talk. 🙂

  3. FYI: Terra Bella is actually going through some changes with the pricing & types of boxes they’re offering beginning with the July box. Below, I copied the email they sent explaining the changes….

    Email:
Terra Bella Box has made some changes. We listened to feedback over the last few months–and what we heard was that you had too many products piling up, the box and shipping were too expensive, and you wanted more makeup. We were listening.

Starting in July, Terra Bella Box will now contain 3-4 items per month and will cost $32.95 with free shipping in the U.S. We have also added a brand new box–the Makeup Edit. This box will contain at least 3 makeup items per month for $29.95 with free shipping in the U.S.

The best part? You can switch back and forth between the two boxes anytime you like. (Just make sure you switch before the 20th of the month.) And of course, you can always skip a month anytime you want with either box.

The July box will still have a mix of both skin care / bath / hair / body items AND makeup, as it is a transitional month… but going forward each box will be separate. We are also discontinuing Terra Bella Box Lite and longer-length subscriptions. We hope that these changes will simplify our processes going forward, so we can continue to provide our subscribers with the same excellent customer service and curation that you have grown accustomed to.

    • Hi Luna! I appreciate the update! I’ve edited the part of the review about the regular subscription boxes from Terra Bella.
