Tennis Trunk sent this pamphlet along with the box.  This month’s theme is “keep cool” so Tennis Trunk included information on the signs and symptoms of heat related illnesses (ever had heat stroke? It’s terrible!), guidelines for keeping cool on the courts, and steps to keeping yourself cool.  The last page of the pamphlet provides subscribers with information on the items in the box.

Diadem Performance Strings Solstice Pro 16L - $13.95

I don’t know a lot about different string brands but I read an article recently that said string technology is improving and Diadem was one of the companies discussed in the article.  The Diadem website says the following about these strings,” This firm and comfortable co-poly comes with a super spin-friendly shape. Ideal for players who like to attack the ball without fear of overhitting. This 16L version is great for those who want a boost in spin and feel.”

I’m so excited to get my racket restrung.  We are recreational players without access to courts in the winter so we’re not great at taking care of our rackets.  These strings provide incentive for us to get some long overdue maintenance done.

frogg toggs Cooling Chilly Pad - $12.95

This is super cool (ha!). You run warm water over the towel and use it when exercising outdoors to keep you cool.  The material is soft but also kind of rubbery feeling – very different.  When the towel is exposed to air, the water evaporates, and the towel feels cool.  It really works!

The towel can be washed by hand or on a gentle cycle when dirty and then stored back in the case it came with.  It is also completely organic and recyclable which is hard to believe after you touch it.  I looked online to see what other people thought of this product and it generally has great reviews.

Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray 1.7 oz. - $7.50

This stuff is all the rage in the cosmetic industry.  Women love it to keep their faces hydrated and cool, especially in the summer.  I’m guessing Tennis Trunk included this product because it also removed perspiration and relieves dry skin.  Evian’s website says this product “Effectively helps replaces facial moisture lost from active sports and drying sun.

Mobius Breakfast Drink Mix- Dark Chocolate - $5.00

No link is included here as I can’t find this product for sale anywhere.  I see there were funds raised here but I’m not sure what happened to the product.  Anyway, this drink has a powdered coconut milk base, 20 grams of protein, 100 mg of caffeine, vitamins, and nootropics.  What are nootropics, you ask?  Nootropics are a blend of herbs and amino acids that are supposed to give energy, increase focus, and decrease stress.  Here is what I can say about this product- the flavor is good and it kept me satisfied through an hour long (almost 700 calorie expending) workout.

Pro Penn Marathon Extra Duty Felt - $7.00 (2 cans)

We only play on hard surface courts so I’m very happy to receive these balls.  My ball collection is building up with this subscription.  I couldn’t be happier!

Verdict:  I think Tennis Trunk is a great subscription for tennis players!  I’m a recreational player and I’ve been very happy with the products I’ve received the last two months.  Right now I’m trying to build my tennis ball collection to fill my hopper so getting tennis balls plus some other goodies on a monthly basis is great! The value is good too for a specialty box like this one.  This month subscribers receive $46.40 worth of products for a price of $34.99 (or less for prepaid options.)

http://www.mobiusbreakfast.com/ is the link for the shake.
Seems like a newer product. I think I saw something on FB awhile back that they were trying to pitch to get onto Shark Tank.

The froggy towel looks great. May try to buy that away from the box. Most of the places that I play tennis provide the balls.
