Stitch Fix is a monthly styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences, and then your personal stylist sends you 5 items to try once a month. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)
FYI – My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Stitch Fix
The Cost: $20 Styling fee (Pay for whatever items you keep minus the $20 credit)
The Products: 5 clothing and accessory items selected for you based on your Style Profile.
Ships to: US Only

Each box comes with cards with styling suggestions for every piece, plus a little note from your stylist.
And this is my invoice sheet. It lists the prices per item and the discount I’d receive by keeping all 5 items. With the 25% discount and my $20 styling fee factored in, this box would cost me a total of $221.50 to keep everything –$44.30 per item.
Urban Expressions Elisha Zipper Accent Structured Satchel – Cost to Keep: $64
I asked my stylist to help me find a mid-sized tote that could work as a stylish diaper bag. I think this bag is pretty cute (and I love that it has the metal feet on the bottom), but I’ve already bought a cross-body bag and a clutch in this mint color from Stitch Fix, and I just didn’t care for the zipper accents, personally.
Here’s a look at some details. I love the pattern of the lining!
Market & Spruce Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee – Cost to Keep: $44
Liverpool Callista Printed Cuffed Denim Short – Cost to Keep: $58
I loved this outfit! I had seen the shorts on some other Stich Fix reveals/reviews, and requested them. I love them and kept them! The tee is great, too. I love grey and it’s super comfortable. Unfortunately, $44 is just too much for me to spend on another plan tee shirt right now. I’m a little sad about sending it back but I think I can likely find something comparable for less.
Tart Shania Knit Maxi Dress – Cost to Keep: $98
I love love this dress. The length was really perfect and it’s flattering and flowy. I just can’t spend almost $100 on another maxi dress right now! But this was so comfortable and flattering.
Renee C Jordie Abstract Chevron Print Maxi Skirt – Cost to Keep: $58
I think this skirt is really pretty, but I didn’t care for the fabric. It was a little thick for summer, and there was a lining, too, even though it didn’t go all the way to the bottom of the skirt. I liked this, but I knew I didn’t love it so I sent it back, too.
Verdict: All in all, this was a good fix. I love that my stylist has been able to grant requests lately (like the shorts, and I had asked about a maxi skirt and a tote bag), and I think everything is my style and fit great! I kept the shorts, and I love them.
I know that requesting specific items sometimes slightly takes away from the styling service part of it, but I think once in a while it helps me try something I think I’ll love, and it probably also gives the stylist a little more look into the kinds of things that catch my eye! In my opinion, as long as you don’t get mad when a request isn’t sent to you, and you see that it can help your stylist just to know the kind of thing that you’re looking for, then it’s okay.
