Verdict: The colors in June's Square Hue box are not the easiest to wear, nor are they colors I would have selected for myself. I think they would work well in nail art though, especially the yellow St. Lucia color! I could see some nice color block action with these colors. The formula was pretty good, but 3 coats were definitely necessary for all colors. The polish dried quickly which is good because I am prone to bumping my nails and smudging my manicure!

I like the idea but hate those shades, to each thier own :). I don’t have issues with Julep and like the customizations they allow and option to skip so probably won’t stray from them anytime soon. I went from about 8 sub boxes total to 3 or 4 max and kept Julep. Would like to get it down to 2 total but can’t decide who gets the axe next, lol!

Wow, I love these colors! How does it wear? I canceled Julep due to the fact it chips so quickly, but I haven’t heard anything about this brand.

I hate Julep, but I really liked the few shipments of Square Hue! I found it wears really well, and I generally got at least a week out of a mani, which is pretty impressive, at least to me.

(As opposed to like.. 6 hours of a Julep mani. 🙁 I always love their colors, but the polish itself.. meh :P)

Three coats? I do a base coat and a top coat too, so that’d be five coats for me… I do not have time for that. How long did your manicure last? I love the green in this month’s box though.

According to their site, all their polish is “Vegan. Not tested on animals.”

Hope that helps!
