Included was an information card detailing some of the items for the month.

Zanies Skedaddles (Chip) – Value $7.97

This is apparently a squirrel.  I learned a long time ago not to try to guess what animal a pet toy was because I am usually wrong.  Even though one of my bachelor’s degrees is in biology.  Anyway, you pull the tail on this and it moves.  Doesn’t work so well on carpet, but is pretty good on hardwood and tile.

Car Window Decal from Who Rescued Who? – Value $3.50 (?)

This isn’t on my car yet.  But it will be.  Soon.

Petstages Purr Pillow – Value $11.24

This is large and is designed to comfort kittens.  You touch the head and it purrs for two solid minutes.  This could be activated from outside the box and it really confused Monkey (and me).  But Monkey is warming up to it and it is a good size for kitties to snuggle with.

purrpacks-june-2016-smalltoys

Fat Cat Fluffy Feathers (2 pack) – Value $6.48

Monkey is absolutely thrilled with any toy from this product line.  He likes the texture of the fabric and licks it and licks it and licks it until it is wet.

Savvy Tabby Leopard Lizard – Value $1.03

Cat is Good Catnip Toy – Value $2 (?)

There are always a couple of small catnip toys in Purr Packs.  We’ve gotten items from Savvy Tabby and Cat is Good before and I’m a fan.  My cats are partial to smaller toys like these that they can toss around easily.

purrpacks-june-2016-treats

Buddy Biscuits Grain Free Cat Treats in Tempting Tuna Flavor (3 oz) – Value $3.16

We’ve had these before.  No big surprise when you get like 6 cat subscriptions.  But, they’re always pretty popular with my guys (and gal), and grain free is always good for cat treats!

Zuke’s Natural Purrz in Savory Salmon (3 oz) – Value $2.09

Another familiar item, though I’m pretty sure we’ve only had these in chicken flavor before, so the salmon is new.  These are made in the USA from US-sourced treats and are free of wheat, corn, and soy (common allergens for pets).

purrpacks-june-2016-scratcher

Corrugated Cardboard Scratcher – Value $10 (?)

There is one of these in every Purr Packs box.  My cats love them, though, and we are putting them all over the house.

We didn’t have an official photo session with the toys from the box because the kitties “helped” open the box…

purrpacks-june-2016-madison2

Madison looks at the box.  Note all the yellow crinkle paper.

purrpacks-june-2016-madison

The scratch pad was covered in yellow dust from the crinkle paper.  So when Madison rubbed all over the scratch pad, guess where the yellow dust went?

purrpacks-june-2016-monkeybox

Monkey with the box.  It was vibrating from the purring toy and he was a little confused.

purrpacks-june-2016-sparkles

The box was closed on the floor.  Mr. Kitty forced his way in there…

And here is Sneaky on the scratch pad.  These things are quite popular with my crew!

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $47.47 for the June 2016 Purr Packs box.  It’s probably actually slightly higher since some of the above prices are sale prices.  This is consistently a great box and one of the only cat subscriptions that exceeds its value every single month.  My cats enjoyed the items, as well, so I’m definitely happy with this one!

These are some great pics! The yellow dust on Madison’s chin is hilarious. Love the one of Sneaky on her back looking up at the camera. Those paws are so cute!

Beautiful pictures of Sneaky! We have one of those purring kitties from Petstages, and although our cats pretty much ignored it, our dog liked it!
