Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - inside

Pop In A Box is a Funko POPs subscription that helps you build out your collection every month! They’ve started to ship to the US earlier this year, and I finally caved and gave it a shot! You can sign up to receive 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, or 12 POPs each month. This is a review of a 6-POP delivery.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - all POPs

The Subscription Box: Pop In A Box

The Price: $9.99 and up + Shipping (My shipping was about $5)

COUPON: Save 50% off your first shipment, no coupon required, just use this link

The Products: Pop In A Box allows you to grow your POP! collection every month with a guaranteed mystery Funko POP! Vinyl that’s not in your collection.

Ships to: US, UK, and Canada

This box ships very quickly, so they must have distribution in the US now. About 2-3 days after I was charged, the box was at the door.

I went back to a 6-POP box, it still provides good value and it reasonable for the budget.

Here’s a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:

The first thing you’ll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don’t receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.

individual POP

You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark ‘I HAVE THIS’ for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don’t want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you’re really interested in that specific POP.

PIAB collection

There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven’t even gone through all of them, but in the end, you’ll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.

Ok – on to the POPs!

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - Piper POP

Piper Chapman POP

Just in time for Season 4 of Orange is the New Black, I got Piper Chapman. My OITNB POP collection is starting to build out…now if only we could find time to watch season 3! Too much good TV!

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - Dionne POP

Dionne Clueless POP

Growing up with a sister, I’ve seen this movie so many times! Paul Rudd truly does not age at all – it’s bizarre!

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - Brian POP

Brian Family Guy POP

I was very into the first couple seasons of Family Guy, but I didn’t really get back into the show once it came back.

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - Alison POP

Alison Hendrix POP

Orphan Black is another show that we’re behind on! I think we’ve only watched through season two. Alison is probably Liz and my favorite character in the show, too! It’s a great show that you should watch if you have the time – Season 5 will be its final season.

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - Hateful 8 POP

John “The Hangman” Ruth POP

The next POP is from The Hateful Eight! Not only is this a great POP, but it’s got a ton of great detail!

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon June 2016 - Wilson Fisk POP

Wilson Fisk POP

YES! This is, somehow, my first POP from the Daredevil Netflix series! I loved season 1 and 2 of the series and highly recommend it. I’ll end this review with a Wilson Fisk table flip!

Verdict: It’s almost impossible to get caught up on all the POPs that I want – but this subscription definitely helps me! Be sure to mark off the POPs you receive to avoid getting doubles. I haven’t had any doubles – so I’ve been very happy with this subscription. You’ll be getting some decent value once you start to buy multiple POPs per month, too – the value is what you make it with this subscription.

  1. Put in an order today. Wonder how long until I get my first box. Doesn’t seem like they send a shipping confirmation. Want to make sure I get my first box before I get charged for my second so I can make sure I like it. It definitely took HOURS to go through and thumbs up or down all of the Pops.

    • Still haven’t gotten an answer from them. Have reached out via social media and email. Getting very frustrated with their lack of customer service. Not a good way to treat new customers.

  2. I’m supposed to get my first box tomorrow! So excited! Have you ever gotten one that you didn’t thumbs up? I sorta gathered from the FAQ that they might send you ones you hadn’t ranked yet, so just curious how pressing it is to go through every single one..cause there’s a lot.

    • Yes – you will get ones that you didn’t thumbs up or thumbs down – so it’s really important to thumbs down the ones you do not want.

  3. I’m not a collector of POPs, but I desperately want to get the Cosima from Orphan Black. I’m in the process of reducing my possessions before I move. This is not helping.
