Each box includes a card detailing the items included. This month's theme was "Your Summer Essentials from Rhode Island."

May's Pearlesque box included 4 Farmaesthetics products.

Farmaesthetics Nourishing Lavender Milk - 8oz full size, Value $39

This is a nice sized lotion in a glass bottle. It has a strong lavender scent and feels like more a lotion than a body milk. It is definitely hydrating but leaves the skin a little greasy. I don't mind that too much except on my hands. I don't think this will be in my regular rotation because of that but the packaging is so pretty, I'll leave it out for guests and decoration.

Farmaesthetics Tansynella - 8oz full size, Value $18

This organic bugscreen comes in a plastic bottle with a metal screw top lid. I mixed this with lotion to apply it to my skin. It didn't make my skin greasy and mixed well with the lotion but I 100% smelled like citronella, which I guess is what keeps the bugs away. I was surprised to learn this is safe to use on dogs and even horses! Plus, you can use it on wood surfaces to keep ants and flies away.

Farmaesthetics Cool Aloe Mist - Travel Size, Value $12

Cooling mists are great too keep on hand, especially during the summer. I was at an outdoor party this weekend and loved having this to refresh my face. This has a strong lavender scent mixed with bergamot, which is a type of citrus. I like that it has aloe as an ingredient and know I'll use this to soothe my inevitable sunburn this summer.

Farmaesthetics Herbal Hydration Complex - 2oz full size, Value $50

This is the highest value product in this month's box. It works to hydrate but also to reduce redness and inflammation, which is perfect for me because I have rosacea. It's meant to be applied in a thin layer and doesn't go on as a thick green mask like I thought it might. The scent is pretty strong, I'm not great at identifying scents but I'm pretty sure it's the witch hazel that stands out.

Verdict: This month's box had a value of $119 and I continue to be impressed by the Pearlesque box. The Farmaesthetics brand is completely new to me but I love their packaging. The presentation of all the products is lovely, they're the perfect items to display in your bathroom to impress guests. The apothecary design is charming and accented by hand drawn + typewriter style labels. I appreciate that all of these products are made in the USA with natural ingredients.

According to their website, that lavender milk was formulated for the face but can be used for the body.

This was my first month subbing to this box, but I loved it. The lavender lotion is wonderful and looks beautiful on my bathroom sink. I use just half a pump when I get out of the shower & it glides on really nicely & smells great. I also love the spray which I keep in the fridge & use anytime I’m stressed. I have not used the bug repellent or the mask yet, but I know they will get used soon. I love the full products on these and that everything looked, felt, & smelled high end.

That Tansynella bug repelent has a VERY strong citronella scent. All I did was open it to smell it, and for at least an hour all I could smell was citronella (and I didn’t even get any on my nose or anything!) Well, I have no doubt it’s effective though!

I have ants at my workplace. We’ve even had to call in the exterminator. they keep coming back. Put some of the oil with cotton balls on my desk and haven’t seen one ant since. Its good stiff. Think if you mix it with lotion it would take down the scent.

I don’t mind a light scent of citronella, but you all have me worried that it is REALLY overpowering! #yikes …That being said, I am looking for natural / safe bug repellent this summer since I live in an area with a big mesquito problem (I live in a danged swamp-like and super-himid environemnt!).

It’s really not that bad. The scent largely dissipated soon after I applied it. I’ve used it twice and it was far more effective than commercial spray brands. A little goes a LONG way so I don’t recommend dousing yourself with it.

The packaging is so pretty!

I put my sub on hold for this box but kinda sad I missed the mask…On the other hand I wouldn’t have used the other 3 items most likely so I guess it’s a good thing, right? LOL

ANyone know what the product line is for next months box? I know they release early .
