Lindsey’s Favorites:

FromRobb Vices (COUPON: Use code FATHERSDAY16 to get a free gift in time for Father’s Day with a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month subscription!)

Why I love it: This is the most beautiful bottle of alcohol I’ve ever seen. I’ve never owned such an expensive liquor before- what a luxury! The contents didn’t disappoint, either. This is the best tequila I’ve ever had.

IrishTaste-April-2016-Chocolate

The ItemCocoa Bean Chocolate Company Milk Chocolate with Rose & Pistachio

The Cost: €3.50 (approximately $3.93 USD)

FromIrish Taste Club (COUPON: Save 10% off your first box with code ITC10!)

Why I love it: I usually prefer dark chocolate over milk, but this is one of the best chocolate bars ever. The flavors of rose and pistachio complement each other beautifully.

The ItemPremium Turkish Delight in Traditional Wooden Box by Hazer Baba

The Cost: $13.95

FromYummy Bazaar Full Destination Box (COUPON: Save 10% off when you sign up for their newsletter. No coupon need!)

Why I love it: Turkish delight is one of my all-time favorite candies, and Hazer Baba’s version is just perfect. I love the selection of flavors (rose is my favorite!), and the wooden presentation box is very nice.

Celicia’s Favorites:

SPZBXAPR - 12

SPZBXAPR - 13

The Item: Weekend Casual – Anchors Away Tie

The Cost: $30.00

From: SprezzaBox (COUPON: Save 10% off your first box with code MSA10)

Why I Love It:  John has been out on his boat a lot this past month.  Every chance he gets.  Though I’ve never been on his beloved new toy, I can’t blame him for loving this tie just as much!  Thanks SprezzaBox, perfect timing!

EBBAPR - 12

EBBAPR - 14

The Item: Mally Beauty – EverColor Shadow Stick

The Cost: $25.00

From: Essence Beauty Box

Why I Love It:  This color just really looks great on my skin tone.  I love that it lasts for”EVER”!  The shimmer isn’t over the top for a work/daytime look but can be dressed up for a night/date out.  I’m looking forward to getting more of these in other colors.

HHCAPR - 11

HHCAPR - 19

The Item: HH – Aloe+Green Tea Soy Candle

The Cost: $18.00

From: The Handmade Habitat Candle Subscription Box

Why I Love It:  This candle smells really great.  I love that it’s smaller than many of the candle jars found in stores today, but can fill a large space in no time.  I’m already using my May candle and I still like this one more.  I’m nearly to the halfway mark and I’m happy to announce it burns evenly. Win!

Anna’s Favorites:

5th-ave-apr-necklace

The Item: Prana Turquoise Double Pendant Necklace by House of Harlow

The Cost:  $52

From: 5th Avenue Style (COUPON: Save $30 off the deluxe subscription box with code deluxemsa30 (limited time only))

Why I love it: Because it’s beautiful!  I love gold, I love layered necklaces, and I love turquoise!  If someone designed a piece of jewelry specifically just for me, it would seriously end up looking like this!

eucopia-mar-bowl

The ItemSugar Bowl by DID Keramoplast

The Cost:  ???

From: Eucopia

Why I love it: This is my new favorite piece of home decor.  Look at those beautiful saturated colors melting into one another.  I also love pieces from exotic lotions, in this case Bulgaria!

rain-city-apr-tillandsia

The ItemAir Plant and Tree Stump Holder

The Cost:  $16

From: Rain City

Why I love it: I’m not really sure why, but I do love it.  This is the first tillandsia I’ve had that seems to be thriving, and I think I attribute it to the tree stump.  It might also be true that I love it because it’s the only creature in my house that doesn’t make huge messes!

Nancy M’s Favorites:

LipMonthly-starlooks lip gloss

The ItemStarlooks Perfect Size Lip gloss in Cuddle

The Cost: $9.00

From: LipMonthly Subscription Box (COUPONGet your first box for $5 with a monthly subscription with code 1ST5 OR use code 1STFREE to get your first box free with a 4-month subscription OR get use code 3FREE to get 3 months free with an annual subscription!)

Why I love it: It is such a beautiful natural shade and comes in the perfect compact size. I’m familiar with the Starlooks brand thanks to subscriptions but I’ve never tried out their Perfect Size line before. I will be wearing this all summer!

Beekman-balsamic

The ItemBeekman 1802 Fig & Elderberry Blaak Drizzle

The Cost: $15.00

From: Beekman 1802 Specialty Food Club Subscription Box

Why I love it: I’m a huge fan of balsamic to begin with so I knew immediately I would love this! At first I didn’t like this on salads, but once I tried it on cheeses I feel in L.O.V.E. It is absolutely delicious & the bottle is so vintage chic. It tastes so good that I plan on purchasing more from the Beekman store once I run out!

BB5-products1

The ItemSoapbox Sea Minerals Body Wash

The Cost: $2.99

From: Beauty Box 5 Subscription Box (COUPON: Receive a free bonus Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in your first box! ($24 value). No coupon needed, just subscribe here!)

Why I love it: I fell in love with this product because it has the most clean & comforting scent! I’ve used it every day since I received it so I feel like it’s safe to say I’m addicted. I am definitely purchasing the 20 oz full-size bottle once I run out of this deluxe sample!

Ragan’s Favorites:

purrpacks-april-2016-toys2

The Item: JW Pet Company Cataction Bouncing Feather Boa

The Cost: $3.43

From: Purr Packs

Why I Love It: This picture says it all:

purrpacks-april-2016-sparkles

catladybox-april-2016-umbrella1

catladybox-april-2016-umbrella2

The Item: Colorful Spectra Cat Umbrella (exclusive)

The Cost: $37.99

From: Cat Lady Box

Why I Love It: Bright colors and cats, what’s not to love?  I didn’t need a new umbrella but now this is the only one I carry around.

monarchfitness-april-2016-bcaa

The Item: BPI Sports Best BCAA in Passion Fruit

The Cost: $19

From: Monarch Fitness (COUPON: Save 20% off your first box with code MSA20!)

Why I Love It: It’s funny, but I bought this exact thing a week before I received it from Monarch Fitness (different flavor but otherwise identical).  I have lost a fair amount of weight this year and realized I had been losing a bit of muscle.  I don’t really get a lot of protein in my diet (vegetarian and not a fan of protein-heavy foods) but I had heard BCAA supplements could help stop muscle loss while you are in a calorie deficit.  This tastes good and lacks caffeine (I work out late so that is useful).  And I think it is helping preserve muscle – I’ve been using it for about a month now and am happy with the results.

Haley’s Favorites:

GOLDEN TOTE 149 TOTE REVIEW APRIL 2016 - items 1

The ItemWrap It Up Dress

The Cost: $60?

FromGolden Tote

Why I love it: April was my favorite month of Golden Tote maybe ever – including all the surprises! This dress was a chosen item (meaning I picked it as one of my 2 picks for the $149 tote). I love this because it’s such a great length for tall girls! GT dresses are often very short for my 5’11” frame. This is one of the most flattering and comfortable dresses I own!

GOLDEN TOTE 149 TOTE REVIEW APRIL 2016 - items 6

The ItemGilli Dress with Striped Skirt

The Cost: $60?

FromGolden Tote

Why I love it: This dress was also from my April $149 Golden Tote, but it was a surprise item! I’m obsessed with this dress (now if it can only be warm enough to wear it!). It’s super flattering and it’s bright and colorful in the best way.

JUSTFAB APRIL 2016 - items 2

The ItemMargyl Wedge Sandal in Cognac

The Cost:  retail: $59.95, JustFab VIP price: $39.95

FromJustFab (COUPON: Use this link to get two items for $39.95!)

Why I love it: You’ll see these shoes in basically all of my clothing subscription reviews because they are definitely my go-to summer sandal! The wedge is nice and flattering without being too high (I think its 3.5”, which is the highest I like to wear these days), and the neutral color matches every outfit I have. I bought these looking for a neutral, every-day summer sandal and I was definitely not disappointed.

BARE MINERALS MYSTERY BOX APRIL 2016 - items 3

The ItemMineral Blush in Vintage Peach

The Cost:  $20

FromBare Minerals Mystery Box

Why I love it: This blush is a gorgeous shimmery peach shade. It’s a warmer color than I usually wear, but I think it’s actually a gorgeous color for my skin tone! The pigmentation packs a punch, too, so you know a little will go a long way, and that this container will last a while! This has become my new favorite, go-to blush. I tend to stay away from loose powders because of the mess, but this has a little twisting mechanism inside the lid that prevents the powder from going everywhere when you close it up and toss it in your makeup bag.

Bekki’s Favorites:

C6

The Item:  Taza Chocolate – Salted Almond Chocolate Mexicano Disc

The Cost:  $5.00

From:  Chococurb Mini

Why I love it:  It is, by far, my favorite in the box, and perhaps the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted.  The texture of it is very interesting, and different from any other chocolate I’ve had.  The flavor is also outstanding.  The almonds inside are not whole almonds, in fact, I don’t even see almond pieces in it, so it might be ground almonds that are included.  I found a stockist in my area, and plan to go there today to stock up on more!

TM3

The Item:  Kuhdoo Soap Co., Bluebonnet Soap

The Cost:  $6.00

From:  My Texas Market (COUPON: Save 25% off your first box with code MAIL25!)

Why I love it:  The scent of this soap hit me as soon as I opened the box, and I LOVED it.  It’s very light, and sweet, and I’ve been dreaming of it ever since.  I can’t wait to use up the soap in my shower so I can throw this on in next.  Not too floral but just enough.  I am going to want to hoard this soap and not use it, but I’m trying to make a point of using up everything I receive!

EFL3

The Item:  The Kitchen Sink Candy bar by Mayana

The Cost:  $7.00

From:  Eat.Feed.Love Snack Box (COUPON: Save 50% off your first month with code mysubscriptionaddiction!)

Why I love it: You knew it was going to make it in to favorites again, didn’t you?  This is absolutely the best candy bar ever.  I shared this one with a friend, because I can’t keep it to myself – I think everyone should love it!  I can’t guarantee it, but if you try it, you might become addicted.  I was so excited when I opened my box and found this, I audibly said “Yes!”  Do yourself a favor and try this candy bar.  All others pale in comparison.

Nancy S’ Favorites:

LuxePineapple-Post-April-2016-4

The Item: MOODmatcher Split Stick in Green/Orange

The Cost: $6

From: LuxePineapple Post (COUPON: Save $5 off your first box with coupon code MSA5)

Why I love it: This little tube of lip color gives me extremely long-lasting, semi-opaque, and vibrant color with the feel of a weightless lip balm. Best of all it’s inexpensive. If you like bold lip colors, do take a look at these!

Doki-Doki-April-2016-2

The ItemAlpacasso Plush Shiro-chan

The Cost: $10.99

From: Doki Doki by Japan Crate (COUPON: Save $3 off your first box with code MSA3!)

Why I love it: I love all things soft and fuzzy and this is the cutest and softest plush I’ve seen in a while. Plus, how can you say no to that strawberry polka-dotted bow tie?

The Item: PinkSeoul Washing Headband

The Cost: $7

From: PinkSeoul Plus Box (COUPON: Save 10% off your first box with code MSA10!)

Clutch

The Item: Badura Clutch

The Cost: $250

From: Gift Izzy (COUPON: Save 10% off your first box with code MSA10)

ZENBOXAPRIL2016_6

The Item: Sublime Naturals Zen Air Bliss

The Cost:  $15.99

From:  Zen Box (COUPON: Use code 20ZENIMMUNE to save 20% off any subscription for life + a bottle of Zen Immune Boost Essential Oil Blend at sign-up! (Zen Immune Boost is for both topical and inhalation, and includes essential oils to strengthen and support the immune system.))

Why I love it:  I work from home and its still not warm enough here (ugh!) to open the windows so I have been using this scent in my diffuser.  I love the citrus floral smell- it just makes me happy to smell it all day.

  1. The code MYSUBADDICTRV for the Robb vices box is not working 🙁 I really wanted to get the his deal

  2. Love that you guys are doing this. I also love the Ipsy verses Birchbox too. I just love this site all together.Thank you again.

  3. I think you guys should do a #SubscriptionHaul for June where you each take a picture of EVERYTHING you received in sub boxes for the month! I can’t even imagine what that pile would look like!! 🙂

  4. I greatly appreciate the Favorites of the Month posts! I admit I don’t read all the reviews, especially of boxes I’m not interested in. I’m missing out on some fun MSA team members! I enjoyed seeing what everyone is enjoying from their happy mail! THANKS for the summary!

  5. Hi, Rob vice coupon code is not valid. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    • Yes! I would love to know if there was another coupon code for Robb Vices subscription.

  6. Omg, that alpaca plushie is too cute!! 😀

  7. I love these kinds of posts! (Although I, too, am wondering what Liz’s favorites were.)

I also really love the Most Requested Swap items posts, even though we haven’t seen one in a while… ::hint hint:: ;D

  8. Where are your favorites Liz??

  9. I love that goonies shirt, I’ve never seen it in swaps. ?

  10. This was tons of fun to read. Please keep this up!

  11. The Mally eyeshadow from Essence was also my favorite, and a must for a lazy girl on the go! I did notice it gets dry/sticky feeling, so I might need to put down some primer. Essence has been doing a great job of picking items I actually want to keep, which is awesome for a $15 box [though $10 on sale].

  12. what a great post! thanks. This summary shows me boxes that I don’t click reviews/spoilers since I am not familiar. Smart awareness building tactic (and nice for swaps too) 😀

    • I totally agree! I only subcribe to one of the boxes listed in this post and now I’m curious about the others. Great way to get people to see what’s really in these boxes!

  13. Love the shoes!
