Nourish Beauty Box Canvas Tote - Retail Value $22.95

Each month gets its own unique tote design. June's design is a colorful print of assorted veggies and fruits having a delightful time listening to music and doing yoga. I love their little faces!

Siskyn Elixer - Rosehip & Tamanu Scards & Stretchmark Body Oil - FULL-SIZE 5.2fl oz, Value $50

This body oil works to enhance the repair process of scarred or stretch-marked skin as well as refine skin texture and encourage elasticity. The formula is vegan and contains a variety of nut oils like hemp, flax, hazelnut and sunflower oils. It contains no essential oils so is safe for the face and for use during pregnancy. It comes with a pump installed plus a bonus spray attachment if you want to spray this directly on your skin (be careful, overspray will make your bathroom floor very slippery). I love using oils like this right out of the shower and then sealing them in with a body lotion. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day long. I'm excited to see how this product works over time on helping to heal or reduce the appearance of scars and stretchmarks.

Peony Cosmetics Hydrating Lip Tint in Dahlia - FULL-SIZE, Value $21

I really liked the swatch for this nude lip tint and was excited to try it on. It went on much lighter than it appeared in the tube and was just too light. I like a darker nude or a bold color when it comes to lipsticks. The formula was light and felt hydrating but seemed to find dry skin on my lips I didn't even know about.

Lip tint swatched on my arm.

Here is a photo of me wearing the lip tint. It was hydrating but not enough to hide some dry skin on my lips.

Lipsi Cosmetics Anti-wrinkle & Depuffing Eye Cream - FULL-SIZE  0.5oz, Value $20

I'm all about anything that says it's gonna depuff and anti-wrinkle my face area! This eye cream comes out fast but you only need a little so be careful. The product is made in Greece, which is pretty neat and probably not something I would have discovered without the Nourish Beauty Box. I'm not sure that I will use this every day (I suddenly have a lot of eye creams in rotation) but I'll be happy to know it's there on days when I wake up with puffy under eyes.

Verdict: This box has a value of just about $114 which is great for a box that costs $34.95! I love the skin oil and have worked it into my routine, it's a huge bottle and should last a long time as long as I keep it out of direct sunlight. The lip tint was a miss for me but the tote is really cute! I always seem to need a bag to toss things in and the fruit print on the tote is so cheerful! Love that this box is cruelty-free and contains brands I don't usually see here in the US.

I needed a good belly laugh today, and Nourish Beauty supplied it. Thank you, Nourish Beauty! Claiming a retail value of $23 for a canvas tote bag with childish drawings on it – OK, I’ll admire the chutzpah and give you $5 for it.

I’ll add to this comment a question: how it is possibly eco-friendly to send one bag after another to every subscriber, every month? If you plan to subscribe long term it’s hard to believe anyone needs that many bags regardless. It always bothers me when a sub markets itself as natural, organic and eco-friendly and then packages their boxes in lots of wasteful materials and/or includes products that aren’t in line with that theme.

I love the bag. There are many artists who sell canvas bags on Etsy for that price point.

I was thinking the same thing! When I look at the value of the products I only add $5 for the bag (and I think that’s pretty generous). I’m just glad that I love the products, and the personal value of the products, including the bag, exceed what I pay for the ‘box’.

I love this subscription. The bags are always super cute (even though I think they’re way overvalued at $23), and I have found some HG natural products I will definitely repurchase. Unfortunately, my 6-month sub will be ending this summer, and I’m on a no-buy of subscription beauty boxes for the rest of the year due to product overload, but I am definitely looking forward to re-subscribing in January!
