Bottle Basket, Mexico (Retail $12)
This month, subscribers could pick between this wine bottle basket or the standard palm leaf storage basket. I love this new design, and I hope they continue to let this be an option each month!
(FYI – this only worked on narrow wine bottles.)
A hostess gift ready to go!
Neem Wood Travel Cutting Board, India (Retail $15)
This piece is beautiful – and the wood is so smooth! The small scale makes sense for a picnic themed box, too.
Color Travel Cup, India (Retail $12)
I LOVE this cup! The stainless steel interior is a perfect match with this bright design!
I already want a set! I still need to find out if this is dishwasher safe, though. For now, it will be a beautiful desk accessory to hold pens/pencils!
UPDATE: GlobeIn recommends handwashing for this cup since it is hand-painted.
Peace Picnic Blanket, Cambodia (Retail $30).
Please note: colors will vary (for both the upcycled and fabric side).
Another fabulous item! I love that this picnic blanket has an upcycled plastic bag side. Perfect for damp grass, dirt, etc.
And what is a picnic without a puppy?
I was holding treats to get him to take this picture, but he was pretty adamant that picnics meant food stat:
Verdict: This box has a value of about $70. I think that’s good for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. And as always, GlobeIn impresses me with their themes and curation each month!
This is one of my favorite GlobeIn boxes ever – I love all the items, and everything is both practical and special!
