Concentrated Dish Detergent Refill in Coriander and Olive Tree - 33.8 fl oz, Value $15
This is huge! It's also quite a lot of product to receive if you've not tried it before. The fragrance is not overwhelming and smells like coriander and olive. I like that it is a biodegradable, no phosphate formula and that the bottle is recyclable. I washed a few dishes with it and it did a nice job, it was gentle on my hands and suds up well. I don't think we'll be switching to this as our detergent of choice, but I think it's very nice!
Cucina Hand Soap with Olive Oil Rosemary and Cardamom - 6.7fl oz Value $10.50
This hand soap comes packaged in a lovely glass bottle (I really love glass bottles). The packaging makes it feel like a high-value item. The soap made my hands feel very clean and smelled very herby. It was a bit drying so I wanted to use hand lotion right away.
Shower Cream in Coconut Monoi - 6.7fl oz Value $12.50
I like the light coconut scent of this shower cream and I love that it's a full-size product. I've been using this nearly every day in the shower and am enjoying it.
Electric Fragrance Diffuser - Value $10.50 and Fragrance Refill for Electric Diffuser in Orange Cantaloup - .85fl oz Value $10.50
I'm not much for diffusers and scents (I've only recently welcomed scented candles into my home) but was excited to try this as soon as I took the scent refill out of the box. I loved the fruity smell and thought it would be really nice in our kitchen. I enjoyed the fragrance but my husband did not, he found it to be much too strong.
The electric diffuser has an adjustment knob on the top to control the amount of scent released. I cranked this down to the minimum level but our apartment quickly filled with scent.
I was pleased to find that the prongs can be rotated to suit the orientation of your outlet of choice so that the product can always be upright. Smart!
Moisturizing Lips Patch - Value $2.50
This was my first time trying a lip mask. There were two pieces, one for my top lip and one for the bottom lip. Those little guys were slippery. I had to giggle when I put them on and made sure to snap a pic to enjoy more giggles later. There is a grippy side (that side goes on your lips) and a smooth side to each piece and the packaging recommends leaving the mask on for 10-20 minutes. My lips definitely felt hydrated after using these, I wish I'd had these to try out in the winter.
Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Face Mask - 2 masks, Value $6.00
This mask left my face feeling very refreshed, clean, and hydrated. It has a more chemical smell than I was expecting, that's probably the Hyaluronic acid. The mask tingled a little when I first applied it but then felt cool and hydrating. I put on foundation a couple of hours after using this and my skin looked flawless!
Aloe Face Mask - 2 Masks, Value $4
This sheet mask contains aloe and is meant to hydrate and soothe the face. My face is red pretty much always so I was excited to see what this would do. While it definitely made my face feel super hydrated, I didn't notice any decrease in redness. This mask was harder to unfold and felt thinner than the Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Mask also found in this box.
The Verdict: This box had a value of just about $72 which is great for a $35 box. There was a nice variety of home and skincare products and I was impressed by all the full-size items. My favorite product is probably the shower cream as I love coconut scent and I've reached for it nearly every day. I think the electric defuser will be better appreciated in a more scent-accepting home. It was fun to try a lip mask, no matter how silly it made me feel!
