FittedTot is a children’s clothing rental subscription. They offer clothing for size 3 months through 5T.
When you sign up, you answer some basic questions (boy/girl, sizing, season, etc). Then you receive a box with 3 play outfits, 1 premium outfit or dress, and 1 pair of pajamas. All the clothing comes to you pre-washed in Dreft (hypoallergenic detergent).
One thing I really like is that there’s no fees or consequences if something happens and the clothing gets damages or stained. They ask that you send it back and they’ll try to get the stain out or repair it. If they can’t, it gets recycled.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Children’s Place Blue & Red Short One Piece – cost to keep: $11.20
This is so cute! I think it’s my favorite item in this box. The material is light and breathable – perfect for summer. Its size 9-12 months, which my son is only kind of sort of fitting in anymore (my 9 month old is mostly in 12-18 right now). It has tons of room width-wise and barely fits length-wise. It gives him a little bit of a(n adorable) wedgie.
Carter’s Fire Truck Onesie/Pant – cost to keep: $12.80
This outfit retails on Amazon with an additional short-sleeve onesie for $16, but is $6.99 on clearance right now at BuyBuyBaby. It “was $9.99,” but I don’t know if it was even more expensive before that price or how long ago that was. I do think this outfit is cute, though, and it fits Gideon well. It’s also in good condition and the white stripes aren’t faded or anything.
Carter’s Gray Dino PJ Set – cost to keep: $13.60
This set is sold together with a second PJ outfit, and together they retail for $13.60 at Carter’s. MSRP is $34 for the two, but it doesn’t appear that the $13.60 is a sale price, so I feel irked that they’re selling this one set for the price of two (and used, too).
That being said, this is super cute. I like dinos for Gideon, and the short sleeve/shorts are perfect for summer.
Carter’s Yellow Truck Onesie/Stripe Pant – cost to keep: $12.80
This is another set that retails with a second onesie, but I’ve found that the 3-piece retails on Amazon for $21. 82, so the pricing for this one seems better.
It’s also adorable. I like the bright/lighter colors for summer, too.
Osh Kosh Blue & Pink Plaid BodySuit – cost to keep: $20.80
This is another adorable, collared onesie. And the legs for this one have elastic so they’re more comfortable for the baby. It goes perfectly with these overalls. I can’t find this exact item for sale online, but I think $20 is steep for a used, one-piece bodysuit.
Osh Kosh Shark "Shortalls "– cost to keep: $25.60
These are adorable! There are little sharks embroidered all over them. I love Gideon in overalls; he had one pair when he was much littler but only got a couple wears before growing out of them. These are so cute for summer.
And now, some baby spam! Purely for the purposes of modeling the clothing, of course. I am absolutely not obsessively showing off my kid. 😉
Verdict: I liked the clothing FittedTot sent my son! I think they’re all very cute and perfect for summer. I also like the range of formality and how there were soft play sets as well as a little nicer, collared shirts and such. I think a rental service is a smart idea for babies and kids because they grow so quickly. The only thing to consider is the value here – I think it’s pretty clear from my review that I felt that the prices to keep the items were steep, so I’m not sure I’d recommend keeping them unless you find the pricing reasonable for that item and you really love it. I think the best way to get the value from this box is to swap out boxes and get as many new rental items in each month as is possible. However, since they sent us one box for review, I unfortunately can’t really speak on how their turnaround time is. Their website says they send out your next shipment once they receive your items, which does add some time between boxes compared to how Le Tote (a women’s clothing rental company) does it, which is sending out the new items as soon as your package’s return tracking says it’s on its way.
