FABLETICS JUNE 2016 - items 1

This month, I picked the Gila outfit (regular retail: $110, Fabletics VIP price: $59.95), which consists of the Vela Tank and the Winn Mid Rise Crop.

FABLETICS JUNE 2016 - items 2

Winn Mid Rise Crop – Fabletics VIP price: $44.95 (retail: $64.95)

(88% Polyester/12% Elastane)

I’m not a huge fan of these, and the only reason is where they hit me. I really like the print and material and the mid-rise is even nice, but I hate that they hit right on my knees. It’s uncomfortable and I feel like it isn’t super flattering. On the model these crops are a couple inches longer and hit right below the knee, so that’s how they’re supposed to be. This problem is really just because I’m tall.

Vela Tank – Fabletics VIP price: $34.95 (retail: $54.95)

(89% Polyester/11% Elastane)

I love this tank! However it is more neon in person than the coral it’s portrayed as on Fabletic’s site. It’s officially one of my favorite things I’ve ever ordered from Fabletics. The draping is fantastic and the fit is great. There’s also (removable) padded cups and a shelf bra, which normally just don’t do anything for me but I feel like it works for me in this tank! I’m not super supported and wouldn’t go running but this works great as a wearable tank (and will be great for summer and nursing!) It comes in this color and black, and I really want to also get the black version but the only outfit it comes in is this one with these crops.

Verdict: This month’s Fabletics pick is 50/50 – I love the tank, I wish I loved the crops. However the quality is always great from Fabletics, and I can pass on or swap the crops (or return them). As far as value goes, this outfit regularly retails for $110 and thanks to the Fabletics VIP subscription I got it for just $59.95. I’m happy with that!

What did you get this month from Fabletics? What’s your favorite thing you’ve ever ordered?

Hi Haley! Great review! I am also a super-tall girl (6ft). Have you tried the Avenue A sub? How do you find the Adidas fit? I’d love to give it a try but worry about sizing. Thanks for any insights!

Not Haley, but a somewhat tall girl (5’10” size 11 in tennis shoes but 12 in heels) with the Avenue A sub. Other than it being awesome that they had my size in shoes, everything fit great on me. The shorts (I got a large) were long enough to not be booty shorts. I actually felt comfortable enough with the length to do deadlifts and squats in them at the gym! The tank (I got a medium) is also long enough that I don’t show belly when I lift my arms. And the tennis shoes fit perfectly. The slides were too wide for me (I have narrow feet), but fit my mom so win for her! I hope that helps!

Thank you! Very helpful!!!

I usually wear a size 8 or a medium but was thinking of doing bottoms in large (to help with length/coverage) and top in medium. I really appreciate your insights!!!

That tank is really cute on you! I went with the Jucunda set because I wanted to try one of their sports bras. The one I got (the Lunada Bra) looks great on but really doesn’t have any support at all. Have you come across any fabletics sports bras that are useful for more than hanging around the house? 😀

In my experience, their sports bras are really cute but not supportive AT ALL.

Going to second that. No support at all in their sports bras.

I would really love to hear about their sports bras also!! I have a large chest and currently use Moving Comfort Juno Bra but MSA has me seriously considering Fabletics but when I went to their website yesterday I couldn’t determine if the sports bras would be worth it or just keep going to a sporting goods store to buy workout clothes. I would ideally like to find a sub like this that has the whole outfit. I do plyometrics and lift, not yoga, so I need support.

You look great as always! I think I’m going to get that tank in black in my next Fabletics order – it sounds perfect!
