Dollup Beauty has release their own monthly subscription! Every month, they will send two full-sized Dollop Beauty items; a Dollop Beauty favorite and a new product that’s not even available in their shop yet!

If you’re not familiar with Dollup Beauty, they have created these awesome multi-tasking makeup cases/organizers – they’re trifold with a mirror, a magnetic place for de-potted cosmetics, and a place to keep brushes. Plus they come in many colors – including mint blue, metallic berry, and rose gold. I bought the blue one. I’ll show you pictures of it at the end of this article!

I mention that because the products that come in this subscription are perfect for putting in their cases.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box.(Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Dollup Beauty

The Cost: $12/month and free shipping

New Subscriber Deal: Use coupon code SUBSCRIBE10 for $10 off of a Dollup case (not the subscription, but the case is great to have to pop the products you get each month into)

The Products: Each month includes 2 products from Dollup Beauty (one favorite and one new – not even in their shop yet), plus sometimes a bonus item.

Ships to: US

DOLLUP BEAUTY JUNE 2016 - ITEMS 1

Dollup Beauty Retractable Lip Liner in Cappuccino – value: $19

This lip liner is pretty nice. It’s not a color I generally use, but it has good staying power and the formula applies well.

Dollup Beauty Liquid Matte Lip Spread in 105 Peace – value: $19

This matte liquid lipstick is the new Dollup item this month. This color is a very pretty, warm nude. It stays very well and passed the eating test. It’s supposed to have 10 hours of wear – I haven’t worn it that long yet, but I like it’s performance so far.

Here’s swatches of the lip liner and the liquid lipstick.

And here’s what the liquid lipstick looks like on. I really like the color, especially for an easy summer look.

DOLLUP BEAUTY JUNE 2016 - ITEMS 4

And here’s the Dollup Makeup Case for you to see! It is much better made than I expected when I ordered.

DOLLUP BEAUTY JUNE 2016 - ITEMS 5

Here it is next to a standard mascara sample to give you an idea of the size. It’s bigger than I expected when I ordered, too. The blue is so pretty and I like the case overall.

DOLLUP BEAUTY JUNE 2016 - ITEMS 6

Here’s a picture of the inside. You can store brushes, mascara, eyeliner, etc on the left and there’s a nice big mirror (it has a plastic protector on it in this photo, FYI).

DOLLUP BEAUTY JUNE 2016 - items 7

And here’s the magnetic panel inside that is underneath the mirror. This is what you can easily stick any Dollup products in pans or anything that is de-potted (like your favorite shadows from a palette or your everyday blush, etc).

Verdict: I’m happy with Dollup Beauty again this month. The liquid lipstick works well and is a nice color. I don’t think I’ll use the lip liner on its own but I’m going to play around with layering it with some lipsticks to see how I can use it to slightly change the look of some that I have. The total value is $38, which I’m happy with for $12.

If you attach any metal pans to the right side, is it deep enough to put items under it? Or is it just meant for the pans? Thanks.

It’s really only deep enough for the pans. You want the mirror part to go down so your makeup isn’t exposed to a ton of air when they are not being used.

The cases self is much more luxurious than a Z pallet and bigger than I thought it was going to be . On the one hand I love it because it’s so pretty but on the other hand it’s kind of big to put in my purse every day . And then just to confuse the issue even more you could take most of your make up out and use it as a clutch. (Magnet would hold you house key etc.) though I don’t use it for that be use it won’t hold my inhaler due to being divided.

Right now I have an ofra yellow face powder refill, Anastasia countour refill, depotted KA highlighter (sample size), depotted LM concealer, depotted Pacifica eyeshadow trio and a tiny pair of tweezers. And plenty of room for more stuff. The Pacifica was wrong kind of metal for the magnet to work, and I can’t find the spare metal disks I had to fix on the back of the pan :/

I love the idea of the magnetic cases but $52!?! Maybe I’m just cheap but do you think they are worth that much? And here I balked at Zpalettes, lol!
I’m wondering how hard it would be to glue a magnetic sheet and mirror into a case or something similar I already have. Granted the loops for holding tubes and brushes might be more difficult to achieve. Hmmm…
