Neonbeast Shirt – Value $24?

This is a dangerous subscription for me! When I’m writing these reviews and looking at the designs of the artist, in this case, Neonbeast, I want ALL THE THINGS!

Conceptual artist and photographer Neonbeast takes creative ideas and further maniputes them. The outcome is a poem of shapes and lines that crosses the boundary separating dream from reality.

That’s a fantastic description of what I’m seeing – I am loving this design.

Againstbound Shirt – Value $24

The second, and last, shirt if from Againstbound. I love the style of this artist – they work with a lot of the same circular template (I am totally crushing on this Mt. Fuji shirt).

Few artists have a style as unique to them as Hector Mansilla aka Againstbound. When his recontructed objects and environments are paired with his masterful color combinations, once familiar objects transcend to something more.

I think I could spend a lot of money just browsing his storefront!

Me being distracted by everything in the Design By Humans store right now.

Verdict: This is becoming one of my favorite subscriptions – all the shirts are unique and only available through the subscription, and I’ve loved all 4 designs I’ve received up to this point. I’m probably going to splurge and buy that Mt. Fuji shirt, too, which brings me to the second advantage – each box comes with a unique coupon code for 15% off you entire order. Time to stock up. It’s a higher price subscription for two shirts (and two stickers), but there is value in supporting the unique artist and the cost in printing the limited quantity – so I’ve never minded paying a bit of a premium for a unique shirt on sites like this.

What do you think of Design By Humans Collector’s Box? Do you shop their store often?

  1. I really like the 2nd shirt but I wish they had a sticker-only option. I have a tee collection so I really don’t need anymore but I’ve liked many of the designs thus far.

  2. I have been loving the reviews on this sub, I think my husband would really enjoy these shirts. I might have to do some subscription box culling to make room for this one.

  3. Lol Wendy While the box is not going to have a wide appeal(price) I think that adds to its value. It is kinda thrilling to know you have an unique piece of clothing that not many people will possess. Eric you’re not likely to meet another man with this shirt on anytime soon. I think the designs are stellar. I also think it’s great and important to support the next generation of Picassos. FYI you probably already know this but there are subs that will send you different art pieces too

  4. Those designs are seriously awesome! I wish there was a way to have them on something other than a t-shirt (I love them, but don’t wear them). Tote bag, towel, pillowcase?
And I lmao at the merkat! I was mesmerized by the changing pupil size. (Some kind of mind control/ rhyming hypnotism?)

    • Wendy- try Redbubble! They have a ton of designs like these in shirts, pillows, art, etc.
They always send out 20% coupons so sign up with them.
*I don’t work for them, just have been binging on art lately.
