Cypress and 5th is a brand new women’s clothing subscription service. Each month their stylists put together a “dressing room” for you in your account based on your style, and you get to select 2-3 pieces (one top, bottom, and accessory or one dress and accessory).

Good to know: it’s easy to opt-out any month you’d like.

  2. Receive Your Virtual Dressing Room, which is a virtual collection of clothing and accessories picked for you based off of your profile.
  3. Go Shopping, meaning you get to mix and match your pieces from your dressing room until you find the combo you like.

CYPRESS & 5TH MAY 2016 - items 1

Everly Floral Tank – value: $35?

YMI Jeans – value: $45?

FYI - I’m estimating my prices here based off what found similar items to sell for. I like this outfit! It’s a great summer look. I love the floral pattern on the tank top. The jeans fit well and I like the dark wash.

CYPRESS & 5TH MAY 2016 - items 2

Chevron Tote Bag – value: $28?

Here’s the accessory I picked. This bag is great and will be used often!  It’ll be great for beach trips, too.

CYPRESS & 5TH MAY 2016 - items 3

My favorite parts are that it zips closed and the cute floral lining!

Verdict: I’m happy with my Cypress and 5th box this month! The floral tank is really cute and I’m happy with the fit of the jeans, and summer always calls for a new cute tote bag! As far as value goes, I can’t find the exact pieces for sale so my estimate adds up to just over $100, which I’m happy with. You can also think about it as $24.93 per item (from the $74.95 cost of the box), which I am still pretty happy with, too.

It’s aggravating that they *still* have not found a way to allow people who only have tablets/smartphones to use their service. I emailed them about it about a year and a half ago and they were looking into it, they said, but I just checked and I still can’t use it. Not everyone has a laptop or desktop computer available to them and I would love to be able to buy their clothes :/
