Stobi Flips by Vitaminka

These chips are made in Macedonia and have a textural consistency similar to cheese puffs. They are flavored with roasted peanuts, so beware of that for peanut allergies. They smell intensely like peanuts when you first open the bag. Honestly, they taste exactly like roasted, salted peanuts. I enjoy the flavor of peanuts, so if you're a fan of peanuts you'll probably like these.

Fruity Landrynki by Miezko

These are hard, fruity candies made in Poland. If you enjoy hard candy, you'll more than likely enjoy these. Hard candy isn't my favorite so these will be passed along to a friend. The flavor of these is really good and doesn't taste super artificial like some fruity candies can.

Goralki by Mleczne

This is like a cream filled KitKat bar. It has the thin layers of wafer, similar to a KitKat, but the filling is cream instead of chocolate. It is covered in chocolate, so you're not missing out on that component of a KitKat. I really enjoyed this one. It is a pretty big bar, so depending on how much you like sweets, you could probably get 2 snacks out of this.

Windmill Cookie by Dutch Bakery

Speculoos, the new spread that has taken the world by storm, is the main flavor of this cookie. You may know it as Biscoff, Cookie Butter, or Speculoos but anyway you know it - it's delicious. This was no different - so good!

Strawberry Cream Frutis Cream Candies

If you're old enough to remember the LifeSaver cream swirled candies, you'll know what these taste like - they taste exactly like the strawberries and cream LifeSaver suckers and hard candies that were popular in the 90's. I will enjoy these greatly, as they take me back to my childhood!

Fancy Fruit Hard Candies

I think I'm seeing a theme with this box...there's a lot of fruity hard candies. These are similar to the strawberry wrapped candies that just show up and no one knows where they came from. They're not my favorite but I'm sure someone out there loves them!

Dutch Babelaar Candy

These are Dutch butterscotch hard candies. All of these hard candies will be perfect to put in my purse to pass out to the little ones at church. The flavor of these is good, but again, I just am not a huge hard candy fan.

Verdict:  Outside of three items in this box, the majority of the items were hard candy of some sort, so the box as a whole was a miss for me. I am sure someone will definitely enjoy this box, as I know many people do actually like hard candy. I do think that BoCandy could have mixed up the curation a bit on this one a bit. I know that shipping snacks in the summer time can be difficult, especially when chocolate is a very popular item, but I think they could have found a few different items to throw in and mix it up a bit.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

The hard candies are probably worth pennies and the bars a dollar or two so it would be a miss for me, not a hard candy fan as well as a low value box. I appreciate your honest reviews, Bekki!

I did try this sub, but I felt it wasn’t a good value. I do another candy sub now that my household really enjoys.

Would be interested in the name of the box ?

I will never pay $15 for that ‘much’ candies. I can buy myself tons of different candies with $15. This box does not impress me and I’d rather pay more for Candy Club to get high end candy than this one.
