Alpha Outpost is a really unique new box for men. From their website, “Alpha Outpost is a subscription box company for men that provides the tools and training you need to take any situation by the jugular.”

Alpha Outpost kindly sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This month’s theme is “The Dopp Kit.”

This list was included to describe the contents and the strategy that was employed in choosing these contents. It has a lot more of a tongue-in-cheek feel to it than the last time I read their info card.

This list was also included, which gives the breakdown of the items and their values. Many of the items in this box appear to have been made for (or customized for) Alpha Outpost, but these prices look reasonable to me. The value of the included items totals $105!

These were all the additional little cards and notes that were included. They are mostly coupons, with one card that has Alpha Outpost’s social media information on it. In the upper left there is a patch that has a listed value of $5.

This manual was included that teaches men how to use all the things in the box. I was a little afraid to read it, but it’s actually kind of funny!

Waterproof Dopp Bag – Listed Value $20

This is a pretty nice Dopp bag, and it has lots of little compartments inside and out to hold all my husband’s essential grooming items. He really liked the design of this bag!

Professional Barber Scissors – Listed Value $10

Alpha Outpost Straight Razor – Listed Value $15

Metal Comb – Listed Value $12

Fingernail Clippers – Listed Value $6

Toenail Clippers – Listed Value $8

Huckleberry Shave Oil – Listed Value $15

These are all really nice quality, handy items to have in a good dopp kit. This is good stuff! I think my husband’s really happy to get a complete kit!

Duke Cannon Soap – Listed Value $8

Alpha Outpost Soap Pouch – Listed Value $3

I think the “big a** brick of soap” was my husband’s favorite item in the box! It made him chuckle, anyway. It smells good, too.

Alpha Outpost Face Towel – Listed Value $5

This washcloth is really soft, and it’s made of that microfiber stuff that’s so good for cleaning.

This cap is not listed on the info or the values card, so I’m guessing it’s a bonus? It’s a nice quality cap, but my husband doesn’t wear caps. He’s already passed it along to a friend.

Verdict: This was the second box we’ve received from Alpha Outpost, and I’m really pleased with this one. My husband is not really the “alpha” type, but this box was pretty good for just about any type of guy. The value is great and the materials included feel like a good practical quality.

What do you think of Alpha Outpost? Do you know any “alpha” men?
