Yogi Surprise included this information card that details the package contents. It also has a cute little graphic along the bottom of seven eco actions to help Mother Earth.

Run Run Run San Francisco Tote – Value $18

This tote is so cool! I love bags that fold up into little packets like this. I like the look of it, too, and it’s a nice lightweight yet sturdy nylon. I also love avoiding single-use bags at the shops!

Zoe Organics Breathe Balm – Value $14

This is an awesome new discovery for me! It’s not really the right time of year, but when my husband or kids get sick, we often use a chest vapor for cough and congestion relief. I never thought to check the ingredients, but I love having a new one that’s made from all natural and organic ingredients.

Blue Lotus Chai Golden Masala Chai – Value $8.95

I do enjoy chai, and this little packet makes 17 cups of it! It contains superfoods turmeric and maca, too!

Boku Superfood – Value $16.95

This is a dehydrated powder made of 55 organic superfoods in a proprietary blend. It sounds amazing, but when I look at the nutrition information, I expect it to have more than 0% vitamin A and 2% vitamin C. This is a little confusing, so I’m not sure how I feel about this product yet.

Essence of Vali Refresh Energy Oil – Value $12

As soon as I photographed this little aromatherapy blend, I rolled it on my wrists. Sure enough, it gave me a little pick-me-up in my waning energy. It smells nice too!

Bambu Bamboo Spork – Value $4

This spork is a good way to avoid single-use utensils. It’s also made from bamboo, which is much more sustainable than wood.

Flora Health Medicinal Tea – Value $5.03

I haven’t had a chance to try this tea yet, but the herbal blend sounds like it would be really good. It also has healing and restorative properties!

Vanini Dark Chocolate Bar With Nibs – Value $6

This looks amazing, and due to its high chocolate / low (relatively) sugar content, this bar will be going into my emergency chocolate stash. I can’t wait for the next chocolate emergency!

Ecopaper Tree-Free Organic Paper Art Pad – Value $4

This paper is made from fruit fiber, which is awesome! What a cool environmental innovation! I don’t think it will work very well as art paper due to its texture and color, but it would be great for draft sketching or just to use as regular paper.

Foods Alive Lip Balm – Value $3

The list of ingredients in this lip balm are impressive, including certified organic hemp oil and chia seed oils. I’m amazed that it can be offered at a competitive price!

Verdict: I think the Earth Day Bonus Box from Yogi Surprise is a huge success! Everything fits the theme well and supports the planet in at least one way. I also really appreciate being introduced to so many new brands that share my concerns for the environment and the health of my family. The total value of everything is about $92, which is great for a $55 box! Even though it arrived slightly after Earth Day, I think it was still a great way to celebrate!

What do you think of the Yogi Surprise Earth Day Bonus Box?

  1. This box ended up selling out pretty quickly so I ordered a runrunrun bag through their website. I sent the company an email about my bag and was just letting them know for future orders about a coloring difference that I noticed. The owner of the company (Brian), went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I really appreciate the level of service that I received and highly recommend these bags to everyone.
    I love my runrunrun bag : )

  2. FYI Living Social is selling one month subscriptions to Yogi Surprise for $31.99. ($25.60 after 20% code treatmom) New customers only.

    • Thanx for sharing that! Just bought it 🙂
