WANTABLE INTIMATES MAY 2016 - BOX

Wantable Intimates is one of the subscriptions from Wantable, and it is probably my favorite box they offer. Like all Wantable subscriptions, you can heavily customize what they send you by filling out your preferences – and you still get to be surprised!

WANTABLE INTIMATES MAY 2016 - info 1

Here are the order details of my box. Wantable recently added free individual item returns to their subscription plans, so you can send back any item(s) you don’t want and get the refund based on the “Your price” listing. (Returns are free for US subscribers). However, if you keep everything, you get a “$4 credit” to your account making your next box $46. If you return anything, you have to pay the full $50 cost for the next box.

WANTABLE INTIMATES MAY 2016 - info 2

When you first sign up for any Wantable subscription you take a style quiz and you can get very specific about the items you want and don’t want. (This is the list of my loves, likes and dislikes from my invoice).

WANTABLE INTIMATES MAY 2016 - items 1

Splendid Girl Short in Heathered Oatmeal – value: $20 (my price: $7.83)

These feel like a t shirt for your butt. They’re crazy comfortable! I like how they’re a neutral color so I can wear them under some lighter dresses this summer, too.

WANTABLE INTIMATES MAY 2016 - items 2

Juliet Lace Bralette – value: $30 (my price: $11.74)

I’ve never received a soft bra from Wantable, and I’ve seen some in the past from other people’s boxes that look comfortable. Unfortunately, this just won’t fit me; it’s too small. I have a feeling I should probably either leave a note about sizing for these in my profile or that I should remove them from my likes.

WANTABLE INTIMATES MAY 2016 - items 3

Lara Chemise – value: $42 (my price: $16.43)

This chemise looks cute, but again, the bust is really way too small for me. Also, the rest of it looks like it should be a soft, flowy material, but it feels quite stiff and not very soft. It definitely doesn’t feel like a $42 piece.

Verdict: Honestly, I’m pretty unimpressed with my Wantable Intimates again this month. The only item I like/can really use is the underwear. Sometimes you can find items that Wantable sends on sale online so the value can be a little tricky to evaluate – personally, I think as long as all the items included are worth the subscription cost to me, I count the box as a win, which this box isn’t for me.

What do you think about Wantable Intimates?

I almost gave up on wantable intimates after the changes last fall. My boxes seemed to be a mix of old mismatched pieces they had laying around. I’m so glad I stuck with them as my last two boxes have been amazing! Each one had a matched lounge set plus a nightgown or night shirt.

Wantables messed up huge when they switched the price over and kept sending the same brands after declaring we would get better stuff, limiting what we could opt in and out for, etc. I don’t know if their subscriber count went down or up for this box, I strongly predict down. I wouldn’t be surprised to see something happen soon with it.

I am only a B cup with a small shirt size and even I can’t deal with soft bras. No real support OR coverage.

I agree. I’m busy so these look ridiculous on me… but I do have a few that I pack to wear under pjs and sleep in away from home.
