The Walt Life Addiction Subscription is a monthly box of hand-picked, authentic Disney merchandise from the most magical place on earth.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

waltlife_inside

The Subscription Box: Walt Life Addiction Subscription

The Cost: $34.95/month

The Products: “A monthly Disney fix in a box! There's really no telling what you'll find, but each month you will receive an assortment of fun Disney merchandise.” Some holidays or events will be represented, but there may be months where the items are random and do not relate to one another. Expect 3-4 items each month.

Ships to: US for free. International shipping is also available for an extra $18 per shipment.

Check out the Kids Subscription Box Directory and make sure to add Walt Life Addiction Subscription to your subscription list or wishlist!

I want to mention two quick things before diving into the box itself. It is important to note that while this is a Disney-themed subscription box with authentic items, Disney itself is not the company behind this subscription. Also, I can’t possibly be the only one who first thought of My Subscription Addiction when reading the name of this box?! Since MSA came well before this subscription box was started, and they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I am going to assume this is either a coincidence or they are fans. ☺

Minnie Mouse Water Bottle - $9.99

(This link is to a very similar design by the same manufacturer.) The bottle is 25 ounces, BPA free, shatterproof, top rack dishwasher safe, and fits vehicle cup holders. Sounds good to me!

Minnie Mouse Tote – Retail Value $20-25?

This is a large mesh tote perfect for bringing to pool, beach, or just using in your daily life.

waltlife_tote2

It has a velcro tab to keep it closed and an outer pocket. The bottom is canvas and it has canvas details other places on it. It measures about 20 inches by 16 inches by 9 inches. I have seen these online different places listed anywhere between $12.95-$49, but it is not always easy to tell which ones are authentic. My husband, who visits Disneyland regularly, estimated the price of this tote at $20 and my guess is around $25.

I think the reason there are only 2 items this month instead of the regular 3-4 items is likely due to the size/value of these.

Group shot!

I opened this box when my daughters were not in the room. They immediately spotted the tote and water bottle when they returned and declared that they would be sharing these. (That is their way of putting in their request that the items be given to them when there is one of something they both want and that they think I might want to keep myself.)

Water bottle in the tote.

A last action shot for you! Here is my 7 year old daughter using the tote in Laguna Beach yesterday.

Verdict: Since the water bottle retails for $9.99 and I am totally guessing on the price of the tote, I estimate that the $34.95 price of this subscription box is somewhere around breakeven (not including the free shipping they throw in). This is pretty typical for Disney subscription boxes. If you love Disney and surprises like we do, Walt Life Addiction Subscription could be a great subscription box for you. I think it would also make a really nice gift!

What do you think about this subscription box? Do you love Disney as much as we do?

Ok thanks.?

I just went to Disney World in October and I bought that same exact bottle at CVS in Kissimmee Fl, but they didn’t have it in the parks. I got it at CVS because it was a fraction of the cost of getting on in the parks.

Not to be a downer but unless Disney authorized the use of their branded merchandise, this sub will very soon receive a cease and desist from Disney’s legal department. They are very aggressive about protecting their trademark. They shut down small etsy sellers on a daily basis for selling Disney-like products. This sub has taken it a step further by selling It’s a nice ird party Disney merchandise. It’s a nice idea but anytime you’re dealing with Disney, it’s basically a legal no-go.

As a former Disney Cast Member, I’m wondering if this merchandise isn’t from the park outlet stores? Do the items have authentic Disney park UPC tags on them?

This is the first month we have received this subscription so I can only speak for these 2 items so far.
I took the description from the subscription box company itself. I agree that this is merchandise that is likely sold at the parks based on the tags that I have seen there in the past so I was taking the company at their word. But I will remove the word “Parks” from the description just to be on the overly cautious side because it does not have the “Disney Parks” tag that is on merchandise sold exclusively at the parks.

Disney sells other items at their parks that do not contain the Disney Parks specific tag and I believe this falls into that category.

Hope that helps!

Yes it does. Thanks!
