This is the information sheet that came with this month’s package from Super Geek, detailing the contents. On the right is a pin commemorating the April 2016 theme, “Destiny.”

Please note that since many of the items in Super Geek Box are custom / exclusive, lots of these values are guesses.

“Gotta conquer ’em all!” T-shirt – Value $10?

Check out this month’s Ultra-EPIC t-shirt! My ten-year-old and I both love this shirt! Although sadly, it set us both off singing the Pokemon theme song absent-mindedly all day. Just FYI, my son wears a kids’ size 10 and this shirt (kids’ size L) is a little too big for him.

This t-shirt also made me have a huge breakthrough: if a geek / gamer box offers their t-shirts in kid sizes, the things you will get in the box are going to be kid-friendly. If not, they will probably include something you wouldn’t want your kids to have from time to time. That’s how you can tell! It should have been obvious to me before, but my little geeks are still quite young.

MARVEL Mystery 8-Bit Avengers Mini Booblehead Blind Bag – Value $4?

Hooray for blind bags! Both my sons are way into the Avengers. They also don’t like to open their blind bags right away, so I’m still not sure who’s in this!

Ninja Squirtle Keychain – Value $3?

It’s Donatello! Subscribers could get any of the four Turtles. My ten-year old is really into TMNT, so he got this keychain to put on his backpack. It will be more cool when he actually has keys!

Ultramus Prime Art Print – Value $8?

This mini-poster is a Super Geek Box Exclusive! My ten-year-old has been a Transformers fan since he was about three, so he nabbed this for his locker.

Light Force Lanyard – Value $2?

This is another Super Geek Box Exclusive! I don’t think my kids really know what a lanyard is good for yet, but that didn’t stop my ten-year-old. He is completely obsessed with Star Wars!

Megabots Vs. Terracons Decal Set – Value $2?

This is yet another Super Geek Box Exclusive! I am seriously impressed by how many products were created just for this box!

Pokemon Trainer Snapback Hat – Value $15?

I have tried my best to keep my kids off the Pokemon, but the geekiness within them is just too strong! This is a replica of the hat worn by Ash. My son absolutely loves it! I don’t think he’s taken it off yet!

Verdict: This month’s Super Geek Box was a huge, smashing success at my house, especially for my ten-year-old! I’m happy it’s such a kid-friendly geek box, and moreover, they really seem to know exactly what the kids like! The value of my estimations comes to $44, which fulfills the promise of this box being more than $40 in value. That’s great!
