SUN OF A CHIC 1 PAIR AND JEWELRY REVIEW MAY 2016 - items 1

These sunglasses are funky. I think they’re actually pretty cute but something about the proportions/size just doesn’t work on my face. The quality feels really nice, though. They have a good weight to them (but aren’t too heavy).

(Note: I have 3 holes in my ears – these jacket earrings are just the first hole.)

These jacket earrings are awesome! I just got my first pair like this in my latest JustFab order, and I really like them. The way they work is that there’s a regular stud with a separate jacket piece you slip on the post behind your ear, after the stud is in, and then you put the earring back on. I think they’re a great way to add some statement and glam, while still being more subtle than huge, dangly earrings, which I don’t really wear.

Verdict: I don’t think I can wear this pair of sunglasses, which is one of the first times ever that Sun of a Chic has sent me a pair I don’t love! Even when I feel like some they’ve sent previously just aren’t my style (or think I can’t pull them off), I’ve often found that I really like them when I try them on. As far as quality goes, these don’t necessarily feel like sunglasses that will last you forever, but they’re still good. Besides, getting new pairs every month (with a pretty low price point) means they don’t have to.  The earrings feel like they’ll last a while, too. I really wish Sun of a Chic would include an info sheet saying what designer the sunglasses are inspired by, though.

  1. Promo code isn’t working. It says it’s expired!

  2. Those earrings look awesome on you!

  3. Earrings are cute but the glasses make me glad I stopped this sub. This would have been 4 months of glasses making me look like I was being swallowed by overly large frames. I probably should have tried the men’s. Great job with the makeup.
