SS2

I really am enjoying this subscription. The brands and products they include are new to me, they have great curation and balance between salty and sweet, and I don't have to worry about eating a ton of empty calories.  This is definitely a great 'better for you' snack box.  I really like that they usually include coupons, and they always have an information card!

There are always quite a few snacks included, so let's get to the good stuff!  Just a note, I had a technical malfunction, and lost all of my pictures for this box before I wrote the review.  I had to retake pictures, but several items were already eaten and in the trash, so those are not pictured, and are noted below.

SS3

Baked Mac N' Cheese Crunch - Beanitos -$1.05

(Not pictured) These are new and most similar to cheese puffs, and these in particular are delicious.  They aren't as airy as cheese puffs, but the flavor is great, and I prefer the texture of these.

Hint of Lime White Bean Chips - Beanitos - $1.05

These were quite good as well!  The flavor was great, and the texture was exactly like a tortilla chip to me.  I will probably re-purchase these and the Mac N' Cheese Crunch chips!

Smokehouse BBQ Sunflower Seeds - Chinook Seedery - $2.99

I'm not a sunflower seed person - I'm fine eating the seeds, but putting something in my mouth just to spit it out isn't my jam.  So the flavor of these are great, but they'll be passed along to someone else that loves sunflower seeds - it seems you either love them or hate them - I've never met someone ambivalent about the issue!

Key Lime Fruit Leather - You Love Fruit - $1.87

Fruit leather always takes me back to childhood!  I loved going to the grocery store with my parents and getting one as a treat.  Picking the right flavor was always a challenge!  This is a grown up version of fruit leather - the flavor is awesome.  I love key lime and I've never seen any fruit leather flavored like it!  This was definitely a highlight of my box.

SS4

Vanilla Cocomels - JJ's Sweets - $0.50

I've been seeing coconut milk caramels all over the internet lately, and have wanted to try them, so I was excited to receive these in my box!  They are very good, and they don't taste too much like coconut - you could trick someone in to thinking these are real, dairy milk caramels.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar - Raw Revolution - $1.99

I've received quite a few Raw Revolution bars in snack boxes, and I always think they're pretty good!  I prefer them over the popular Quest Bars that are prevalent on the market today.  They are packed with fiber and protein, which makes them a pretty good meal replacement while you're on the go.

Honey Almond Butter - Justin's - $1.48

I am not the biggest fan of almond butter, but if I'm going to eat it, I get this brand.  The small package makes it easy to take along with a piece of fruit for a snack, which I love.  This honey almond butter had great flavor, so I did like this one!

SS5

Bottled Raw Cacao Espresso - Steamm - $3.33

(Not pictured) I threw this in to some almond milk and added a little bit of one of the simple syrups I make throughout the week.  It was really good straight up, but I prefer my drinks slightly sweeter.  This is sweetened with stevia and steeped in raw cacao, and I love the idea of it. I might actually buy more of these for those days when I need a bit of a bump!

Cinnamon Crunchy Seed Bites - Somersault Life Company - $0.99

I was not expecting to like these, but these may be my favorite item in the box.  They're SO good.  The cinnamon sugar flavor is outstanding, they're crunchy, and the slightly 'seedy' flavor is great in them - it provides a nice contrast to the sweet.

Coconut Macaroon Bar - FlyJoy - $1.99

The flavor of this bar isn't my preference, just because I'm picky about coconut, but this is a good energy bar.  It has chia, flax, oats, and quinoa packed inside, and the texture is better than most bars on the market.

SS6

Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle - Sheila G's - $1.87

This was delicious.  I LOVE Brownie Brittle, and the salted caramel might just be my new favorite.  I always get so excited when I see it at Costco, because I can buy TWO bags as big as my head.  My eyes are bigger than my stomach, I'll go ahead and admit that now.

Black Pepper Coated Almonds - Kobaya -$2.49

The black pepper coating on these almonds is pretty faint.  The flavor would be great if there was a little bit more there.  I prefer really flavorful foods, and these were just ever so lightly flavored.

Dried Tart Cherries - Made in Nature - $1.99

These are really good.  I love dried fruit, and cherries are some of my favorites.  I enjoyed these!

Honey Apple Oat Bar - FreeYumm - $0.99

This was delicious!  I actually think I might purchase these - they're that good!  The texture is nice, and it tastes great.  They're free of milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, soy, fish, shellfish, sulphates, and sesame.

Verdict:  I definitely enjoyed my SnackSack this month.  Everything was really good, and there was a nice mixture of sweet and savory, which we all know I love!  The value of this SnackSack was about $24.58, which is almost exactly what the cost of the box is.  With food subscription boxes, that's actually a good value!

Like I said, I loved this month's box, and there were several things I will probably purchase myself - the Steamm espresso, the Brownie Brittle, and the Free Yumm bar for sure!

She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Unfortunately disagree with you on the cocomels. I bought a small pouch of those at the store and they tasted really strongly of coconut and not at all of vanilla. I like coconut flavoring, but these were so disappointing to me. They had a great texture though! Just the flavor felt off to me.
Also, somersaults are the best. You can usually pick them up at world market, but I’ve been seeing them at places like whole foods too.

Somersault’s are the best! I haven’t found a flavor yet that I don’t like. Unfortunately. 😉

How strange, I’ve had a couple of flavors and I haven’t really cared for any of them. I guess it is impossible to satisfy 100% of people with any food box!

Those Hint of Lime Beanitos are awesome. I don’t keep them in the house because I would eat them all. But they are SO good.
