The theme this month was "April showers brings May flowers," and they stuck to that theme really well!

Lavender Infused Simple Syrup by Sonoma Syrup Co. - $3.00

As regular readers know, I use simple syrup, usually lavender, in my tea and coffee every morning.  This was a win for me!  The scent of this syrup is a bit more flowery than the one that I make, but the taste was not flowery to me.  I really enjoyed this!  Eat.Feed.Love always includes recipes to use the items they send, and for this they included a lavender lemonade and a lavender bread pudding recipe!

Rose Water by Nielsen Massey - $10.00

I have wanted rose water for a very long time - and just never pulled the trigger.  I am so excited to use this!  I want to add it to my roasted strawberry compote first!  Eat.Feed.Love included a recipe for rosewater marshmallows, which also sounds delicious!  I popped this open to smell it, and if a scent can be gorgeous - this was gorgeous smelling!

EFL4

Nectarine and Rosemary Jam by Christina Maser - $7.00

I really enjoyed this jam. Eat.Feed.Love. recommends eating it with cheese, and I think that's an excellent suggestion.  I especially think it would be delicious on baked brie!  The herb and fruit play really well together.  They also recommend it on salmon and chicken, which also sounds like it would be good!

Spoonable - Flowery Lavender Caramel - $9.00

I made a lavender iced coffee, with this caramel drizzled on top - it was an excellent decision, and absolutely delicious!  I think this would also be great on my favorite buttermilk berry cake - I usually make some lavender infused whipped cream to go on top, and this would be a nice, decadent extra!

EFL5

Vanilla Rose Ceylon Tea by Flying Bird Botanicals - $4.00

I made a tea latte with this, some cream, and the rose sugar I got in this box in February.  It was delicious!  I really loved the addition of the vanilla in the tea - it helped to cut some of the "I'm drinking a flower" feeling.  I would definitely purchase this and rotate it with my usual English Breakfast Tea!

Salem Baking Co. Moravian Cookies - Meyer Lemon - $6.00

Is there any better flavor for spring than lemon? I don't think so!  Meyer lemons are delicious and sweet, and so are these cookies...I love them.  They're perfectly thin and crunchy, just the right thing to eat while you're having a cup of tea!

Verdict:  I loved this box from Eat.Feed.Love, but who am I kidding?  I love all the boxes I receive from Eat.Feed.Love.  I also love that they donate a portion of their proceeds each month to charity - this month it's City Harvest - a company that helps feed the 1.4 million New Yorkers facing hunger each day.

The value of this box is about $39.00.  I've found that food boxes are generally a little less than you pay for them, so I'm not disappointed in a $39.00 box.  I loved everything in the box though, so that probably helps.  I think this box definitely stuck to their theme, and was perfect for this season.  Have you tried any of the Eat.Feed.Love boxes yet?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!
