Here’s a close up on one of the dryer balls. They are 100% hand felted wool. They’re supposed to help soften your clothing without the chemicals that dryer sheets use, help reduce dryer time, and reduce static. You can also add a couple drops of your favorite essential oils and make your clothes smell like it!

The Verdict: I’m really happy with the April Mighty Fix! I had actually been thinking about getting some wool dryer balls to use my essential oils with, so I was quite excited when I saw that’s what I got this month! They’re a nice size (must be about 3 or 4 inches in diameter) and seem to work well! I can't compare to how well they soften compared to dryer cloths because, well, I've never used dryer cloths, but I did love how they made my clothes smell like my favorite essential oil blend! I'm happy.

What do you think about the Mighty Fix? Do you use wool dryer balls?

Yay! I got my wool dryer balls for my month of May suprise and have been using them and loving them! So happy, I really like this sub. Plus, I can add on items to get free shipping and they have some good stuff too.

I bought three balls from MightyNest months ago when they were on sale for 14.95 so getting three for $10 is a really good deal. I love mine and think I’ll just toss in these three with the first three. We’re a three cat family so I can only hope that more cat hair will be attracted to the lint screen with these in there.

I can’t even remember what I got for my first box last month, I was just so excited about the flip and tumble tote (which my husband promptly used as a diaper bag and lost.).

These dryer balls don’t seem worth $10, bucks they are interesting.

I also got wool drier balls this month and am a little bit disappointed because I already have many that I’ve made myself from yarn from leftover knitting projects (super cheap and easy project — anyone can do it!). But, they do work great, and these are much larger than any I’ve ever made, so I suppose they’ll get used as my handmade ones fall apart.

So I have allergies to dryer sheets and such, and I use wool dryer balls. But all the ones I’ve ever bought have said you should use at least six at one time. You can get packages of six on Amazon for around 14-15 dollars, too.

I have use these: Kikkerland Hedgehog Dryer Balls, Reusable, White, Set of 2 – They sell as low as $5.99 they work well. Plus are adorable. I can not use wool (wool allergy) there are some natural drier sheets that work well for me, as well as lavender sachets.

OH man I wanted those from the Globe in basket a few months ago, never was able to swap for them. I’ve been debating signing up for Mighty Fix and then look what happens lol. The month before I was going to, they have an awesome box!

I got a set of reusable produce bags in my April box. Which I really like, especially with the farmer’s markets around the corner. My boyfriend thinks they will add extra weight at the grocery store? But I will use them anyways. I hope I get wool dryer balls in an upcoming mighty fix!

I use the bags for my kids socks 🙂 one color for my son and one color for my daughter. Makes sorting easier lol. I havent actually used them for produce yet but I do like them. I received metal straws for April and actually just got them as my first shipment was lost by USPS and I LOVE the metal straws. I have been with Mightyfix for about 5 months. I LOVE them. I am getting the dryer balls this month. I have the ones from Globeln (I swapped for them) and these…one happy gal.

Oh, that’s a good idea to use for the socks. I haven’t received metal straws yet, they are on my Amazon wishlist so maybe I’ll hold out and see if they don’t show up in one of my mighty fix packages. Thank you for the tips!

I got reusable produce bags in my April subscription box! I really like them, especially with the farmer’s markets coming up. My boyfriend thinks they will add weight at the grocery store though ? I’m still going to use them. I hope I get wool dryer balls in one of my upcoming packages.

Weigh the bags on the scale sometime and find out the “tare weight” and then let the cashier know when they’re weighing them. Most natural food stores are very familiar with adjusting the weight for packaging.

Anna

That’s a good idea! I can’t imagine they actually weigh that much, but I haven’t used them yet so I will do this just to see if it makes that much of a difference.
