Every box comes with an info card with all the info you need for each item inside, including the theme, this month’s theme was Assembled! It did not disappoint!

Lootaku Subscription Box Review + Coupon May 2016 - Ultron bobblehead

Hero Remix Bobblehead Series 2 Ultron – Value $34.99

I was in a bit of a geeky squeal fit as I pulled the two main items from this box. So much so that Liz had to come upstairs to see if I was alright.

This was the first item I pulled from Lootaku. I love the look of Ultron in this bobblehead. The bad part is now I want all the other bobbleheads in the Hero Remix line!

Here it is out of the box. It’s got some size. I’d say about 6 inches like the oversized POPs.

Lootaku Subscription Box Review + Coupon May 2016 - Infinity Guantlet Mug

Entertainment Eart Exclusive Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Mug – Value $15.99

The most audible squeal happened when I pulled this out. I mean, come on – how can I not use this every day! It’s totally appropriate too, I feel like I have ultimate power when I have a coffee!

Here it is from the side. I love the Infinity Gems – they’re not painted on, instead, it’s a replica gem. Perfect!

Incredible!

Lootaku Subscription Box Review + Coupon May 2016 - small items

Hulk Mopeez Plush – Value $6.64 on Amazon

They also include one of 11 possible Mopeez Plushes. You could have received Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Vision, Crossbones Black Panther, Spider-Man, Groot, Rocket Racoon, or Deadpool. Naturally, I got a duplicate Hulk.

3D Figural Marvel Keychain Series 3 – Value $8.49 on Amazon

The last two items are blindbox items. First is this Marvel Keychain blindbox – which I’ve never received before, and I’m not sure how that’s possible after about 3-4 years of geek boxes!

Lootaku Subscription Box Review + Coupon May 2016 - deadpool keychain

I pulled my favorite of the ones I’ve seen – Deadpool! I like this one so much because he looks like the animated Deadpool wondering around the end credits of the movie.

Captian America 3: Civil War Mystery Mini – Value $6.99 on Amazon

The last item was a second Funko item – it’s a Civil War mini figure!

Lootaku Subscription Box Review + Coupon May 2016 - mini figure

I got Hawkeye – now to find shelf space…

Verdict: My value came to around $73 – which is pretty close to the value listed on their card of $79 – and definitely more than the cost of this box, so that’s a thumbs up right away. This is, easily, the best Lootaku I’ve receive yet – but I’m a huge Marvel fan – so they hit the nail on the head for me. I’m really excited to see more from this box – especially when I’m excited about the themes. I still think it’d be great if they can figure out a way to cut down on shipping cost to the US – it cuts in on value, and with a smaller shipment cost, this box becomes such an incredible value.

What do you think of the May Lootaku?

  1. The figural keychains can also be found ( usually 5 to 6 dollars) at Walmart and Target ( in both the dvd area, toy area and up front where the baseball cards are) and at 5 Below for $5 in case somebody does not want to purchase on Amazon.

  2. OMG! That Hawkeye mini figure (squeal)!!!

  3. Thanks for the review! We’re definitely looking for cheaper shipping options, but it’s really difficult due to the size of our box and also the weight of the box from the items we include. But we’ll keep trying!

  4. Oh my goodness! *squeals* I must have the Deadpool. MUST. HAVE. IT. 🙂 Where can I buy that type of blind box? Amazon, yes? Sorry, my nerd is showing!

    • Yep! Just click the Keychain link and it’ll take you right to the Amazon product page!

  5. LMFAO!!! “Geeky squeal fit” – love it Eric! Poor Liz!!! Well, at least she now has advance warning when the next box arrives.
