This month’s theme was nature.  On the other side of the information card was a list of items from the box.

Think Cat Wrestler – Value $5 (?)

This had the biggest feather so it was a hit.  My cats LOOOOOVE feathers.  I couldn’t find this online because Google kept giving me hits about what wrestlers think of cats…

Ocala Seagrass Disk with Feather – Value $5 (?)

I couldn’t capture this in photos but my cats had the most fun with this when we slid it around the dining room floor, which is hardwood that is currently not covered by a rug.  This one is also hard to find online.

Our Pets Mouse in Sheep’s Clothing Instinct Toy – Value $5.99

This had a rattle in it.  My cats are not so into noisemaking toys (although it didn’t scare them).  I think I will spray this with catnip spray and see how they like it then.

Crazy for Catnip Ladybug Toy by Safemade – Value $3.50 (?)

Monkey seemed to like this.  It’s large but thin and light.

Pet Zone Play-n-Treat Balls Interactive Toy (2 ct) – Value $5.22

Madison is the only one of my cats who can figure out toys like this.  He knocks the treats out and the other cats steal the treats from him.

kitnipbox-may-2016-treats

Prime Taste Treats Interactive Jerky Snacks (salmon flavor, 7 treats) – Value $1.72

These are longer sticks that you break up into pieces.  Sneaky and Madison were fans.  I like how each stick is individually sealed so the treats stay fresh for longer.

And now for the kitties…

I just like the look on his face in this photo.

Madison checks out the disk toy.

Sneaky in action...

Sneaky checks out the disk toy.  I missed a shot of her biting it.

Mr. Kitty with the feather toy.

Mr. Kitty’s eyes are doing much better, but he had just had his mirtazapine (appetite stimulant) and was in a weird mood when I took these photos.

Monkey with the ladybug toy in his favorite hangout under the TV.

And Monkey playing with the feather toy.  I have a dozen pictures like this…

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $26.43 for the May KitNipBox.  Take that with a grain of salt because, as usual, it was difficult to find most of the items for sale online, so a lot of the prices are guesses.  KitNipBox is a good box to consider if you have multiple cats and if you are looking for toys that are a little off the beaten path and especially if you use our coupon to bring the price down a little.

I love this box. The items are the highest quality, almost always organic, and they often contain items from etsy artists. The best.

Am I alone in wondering what wrestlers actually think about cats? Sending good Kitty vibes to all and especially to Mr. Kitty!

This may be in the review and my eyes are missing it but is the box featured the happy cat or multicat version?

Ragan

Sorry, I think I totally forgot to mention that. This is the multi-cat box.
