Each month the designer and owner, Heidi Heth writes a letter to subscribers about what inspired her for the month and gives tips on how to use the cards this month.  This year she plans to include a specific reason to write.  This month: #5 “To thank someone for simply being who they are, without condition or pretense”.  I love that the cards aren’t all themed towards moms.  In fact, all the cards this month are blank.  I personally enjoy blank cards.  It gives me a lot of space to be creative and/or to write a longer message.

I have four Shirley Temple stamps this month.  Super cute. This also means subscribers received four cards!

Haven Paperie – Stationery Pen – $1.75

I’ve never received a writing utensil in this subscription.  What a nice surprise!  It’s inscribed with the Haven Paperie logo in a rustic gold color.  I love it.

Mama Bird – Greeting Card – $4.50

Adorable!  I think this card is perfect for many occasions.  It could be used for the birthday of a new baby or mother to a new born!  I could even see it being used by a mother for her son or daughter.

Thanks For Being You – Greeting Card – $4.50

Another card that can be great for a number of people in your life.  I love the simplicity of the cover.  With all the planner goods I’ve picked up recently, this one will be perfect to decorate!

I’m So Happea For You – Greeting Card – $4.50

This card would be great to send friends and family to share in a moment of happiness.  It’s not my favorite card from Haven Paperie, but it will be used!

HPPMAY - 10

Foliage – Greeting Card – $4.50

Unlike all the other cards this month, this one has a matte finish.  I love the colors and think it would look really pretty along side of a gift.  I am even bold enough to say I’m considering cutting the card into two, to make little gift note tags.

HPPMAY - 11

Verdict:  This May, Haven Paperie had an estimated retail value of only $20.00.  Haven Paperie normally ranges just below or even, so it’s great to see the average come up just a bit.  I really love having cards at home.  I hate searching stores for greeting cards that are only close to what I’m looking for in the first place.  I also love the pen and hope that Haven Paperie adds little trinkets like this every month to supplement the value.

Which card did you love the most?  What other stationery items would you love to see in this subscription?  Tell us more in the comments below.
