DOLLUP BEAUTY MAY 2016 - BOX

Dollup Beauty has release their own monthly subscription! Every month, they will send two full-sized Dollop Beauty items; a Dollop Beauty favorite and a new product that’s not even available in their shop yet!

If you’re not familiar with Dollup Beauty, they have created these awesome multi-tasking makeup cases/organizers – they’re trifold with a mirror, a magnetic place for de-potted cosmetics, and a place to keep brushes. Plus they come in many colors – including mint blue, metallic berry, and rose gold. I bought the blue one.

I mention that because the products that come in this subscription are perfect for putting in their cases.

DOLLUP BEAUTY MAY 2016 - info

Each box includes an info card about the products included and some tips for using them!

DOLLUP BEAUTY MAY 2016 - items 1

Dollop Travel Brow Brush – value: $5?

I’m estimating the value from their brush listings, but I really like this! It feels well-made and performs great. I’ve been using it since I got it and I’m a fan.

Brow Perfecting Powder – value: $17?

This isn’t in their shop yet, so I estimated the value based off of the price for eyeshadows.

This brow powder is a great color for me. The powder has pretty good pigmentation. It might be a little chalky but I guess for brow powder (and my color brows) I don’t mind it much. See how this is just a little pan? Not compact case? It’s made to just be popped in your Dollup case!

Here’s a swatch of the powder.

DOLLUP BEAUTY MAY 2016 - items 3

EcoLips Pogo Organic Lip Balm in Apricot Peach – value: $3.99

This is a funky little lip balm! It’s an odd shape of packaging. Smells great and feels really hydrating on my lips.

DOLLUP BEAUTY MAY 2016 - items 4

On the info card, they offer the tip of using a lip balm to tame eyebrow hairs and add a natural sheen. I bet it could also work decently as a sort of brow wax when in a pinch!

DOLLUP BEAUTY MAY 2016 - items 5

Here’s me wearing the brow powder! Like I said, I like it a lot.

Verdict: I liked my first Dollup Beauty Bag! All the items work very well and I’m happy with them. The value adds up to $26, and I’m happy with that.

Never heard of Dollup but willing to give the sub a shot…unless I receive some crazy dark brow powder. I am blonde, soooo that won’t work for me.

Yay for Dollup Review 🙂 I’ve only been subscribed for two months, but their powders are great quality, smooth and very pigmented. It’s so convenient to receive refills only for the Dollup Case, and so far the value is about double the retail. That eyebrow powder is SO pigmented but blended out beautifully, I got an auburn shade.

**Whoops,I meant the retail value so far is about double the subscription cost at least

I have tons of eyebrow hairs they stick out all the time. Good idea to try lip balm to tame them. Thanks for the tip.

The products look good! The brow powder seems to have good pigmentation and the brush looks nice. I, personally, have more than enough lip balm thanks to subscription boxes, but if you like it, I’m sure its good. My problem is that I would need to buy their case to put most of their products in, since they don’t come in compacts. The cases, which costs $52 or $42 if bought with a subscription, are rather small in my opinion, and don’t look like they would protect the products sufficiently. If one of the uncovered powders broke it would be all over everything else in the box.

I would love that brow brush—hopefully it will be on their website, or on swaps soon!
