Candy Club has several different club options that help tailor boxes to suit different candy preferences. Subscribers can choose between three clubs: “Sours & More,” “Classics,” and “Favorites.”
To help determine which club is right for you, subscriptions begin with a fun online quiz! (Though, if you don’t like your quiz results, you can always pick a different club.)
Each Candy Club Box comes with a card detailing the month’s featured candies.
On the reverse, nutritional details are listed along with any relevant allergy information.
Albanese All Natural Flavored & Colored Gummi Bears
Albanese gummies are regularly included in Candy Club boxes, and I’m a big fan. Their flavors are excellent, and I think the soft consistency is perfect.
I couldn’t find this variety available on the Albanese site, but they remind me of the Sunny Bears I sometimes buy in bulk at Whole Foods.
Dorval Sour Power Strawberry Banana Belts
Sour Belts are my husband’s all-time favorite candy, and he was very excited to receive a flavor he’s never tried before.
The banana flavor is pretty subtle (the belts mostly taste like berries).
Okay, first of all, how cute is the name “Petite Pufflettes”?
These soft and fluffy candies are kind of like a cross between gummies and marshmallows. The flavors are great- I would definitely buy these again!
Cinnamon candies were never my favorite growing up, but I like them a little bit more now that I’m older. Still, I don’t know that I’ll go through all of these. I might have to find a better home for them.
Verdict: I always look forward to my monthly box from Candy Club. There’s something so fun about receiving a giant box of candy! I enjoyed all of the candy in this month’s box, but I especially enjoyed the Albanese bears and Petite Pufflettes. In terms of value, Candy Club says that each box will have a retail value of $60. You can certainly pay that much for candy at high-end candy stores (like Sugarfina and Dylan's Candy Bar), but I think it’s important to point out that nearly all of the candy in this month’s box is available for much less if you buy it in bulk online. Still, even though this subscription doesn’t offer superb value for money, I think it’s a lot of fun.
