3B-Box-May-2016-Info

Each pouch comes with an info card detailing the included items.

3B-Box-May-2016-1

Leaders Brightening Recovery Mask - $7

Unlike usual cotton masks, this sheet mask touts a premium biocellulose coconut gel material that's the newest generation of sheet masking innovation. This brightening version contains telangyn and niacinamide to even out skin tone and redness while giving your skin a glowing complexion. The mask itself is protected by two protective films because of its fragility, I guess. How does it compare to typical masks? The material feels slick and luxurious, and it definitely adheres to my skin better than cotton ones. It also feels less suffocating than cotton ones, which I know is a reason why some people don't like sheet masks. I enjoyed the mask material on my face, but the essence was uncomfortably sticky a long time afterwards.

Sulwhasoo Essential Firming Cream 5 samples - $6.33

Sulwhasoo is a luxury Korean brand (also sold at Nordstrom). The Essential Firming Cream contains Korean medicinal herbs that helps firm, tone, and stimulate collagen production. It also has adlay, pomegranate, green tea, and ginkgo for elasticity and anti-aging properties. It costs $95 for a full jar! The cream is a thick, white texture and smells like a combination of citrus and oriental medicine. The fragrance does fade in under a minute. The cream is thick but dries smoothly and doesn't feel tacky or cloying. It's very moisturizing too, maybe even too moisturizing for my needs. Overall this is a quality cream.

Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Essence 10ml - $5?

This royal honey and propolis essence is perfect for me! It is a lightweight, scentless essence that contains 50% black bee propolis extract, 20% royal jelly extract, and 10% royal black honey extract. It has a dropper applicator to keep things more hygienic. The propolis is anti-inflammatory and great for acne-prone skin, and it's noncomedogenic. It's not very tacky on the face and makes my skin feel very soft in the morning. This is a great find.

Dewytree Blackhead Out Nose Patch 3 patches - $0.44 each

These nose patches contain volcanic ash and charcoal extracts to help clean out clogged pores and remove blackheads. I rarely get blackheads, and I don't really like using nose patches, so these will be gifted. I'm happy 3B Box gave me three of these, though.

Aritaum Fresh Power Essence Pouch Sleeping Pack - $3?

This is a resealable and multi-use honey sleeping mask. Unlike the Skinfood essence, this Aritaum honey sleeping pack has a clear honey smell. It looks and feels like honey too, but thankfully it applies smoothly with little stickiness. I used this at the last step of my nightly skincare routine and in the morning woke up with a soft and smooth face. Honey products are the best!

Verdict: This month's 3B Box was superb! It didn't look promising at first because everything looked kind of small or single-use, but after trying out all the products this is one of my favorite months yet. I'm very satisfied with the item selection as well because bee products are my favorite and I got to try the fancy Sulwhasoo brand. My favorite item was definitely the Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Essence and its lightweight, scentless goodness. I estimated this month's value to be $22.65. That's nearly double the cost of subscription. I would be a very happy camper if 3B Box continues in this direction!

I think 3B Box still has a waitlist for new subscribers, so if you're interested in this subscription, sign up soon for your spot! I was on the waitlist for about 2-3 months.

Thank you! I really appreciate your great reviews and just signed up. I received my first Play by Sephora and like others was a little let down after the long wait. I am looking forward to trying this subscription as I feel it may be what I have been looking for with more skin care.

I really enjoy reading your reviews! I got this bag (have been a subscriber for 4 months) and was really excited about the samples but didn’t know what to make out of each one but you explained with great detail. Thanks for your thorough and honest opinions.

I just got off the waitlist for 3B and this is my first box — the sulwahsoo and the honey essence – wow! I’m super excited. 3B is definitely a keeper (unlike the Sephora Play! box for which I was also waitlisted, got the first box this month, and am already thinking of dumping….)!

I got that firming cream in Miss Tutii. I like it. Maybe not $95 FS like it, but it’s good stuff. (Plus, it didn’t come in foils…)

I’m still waiting for my box to arrive but can’t wait!! This month looks awesome!! I subscribed kinda late in the month so I get charged every 21st and after that, my box ships. This will be barely my second month. I was soo lucky to have been on the wait list only like 2 weeks! ? They had opened some spots in April.

Hey Ann~ I think there is still a waitlist for this sub (someone correct me if I’m wrong though). I waited about 2-3 months before they let me in.

Thanks, Nancy. I tried signing up, and it would allow me to. It didn’t say anything about a waitlist. I just had to fill in my info and payment info, along with what products I wanted to try.
