Each box includes an info card listing the retail values of each item.

THREADS MONTHLY APRIL 2016 - items 1

Infinity Bracelet – value: $5.99

I have quite a few of bracelets that look like this thanks to subscription boxes in the last few months. It’s pretty, but will be swapped!

Camera Necklace – value: $13.99

This necklace is really cute! I love this color blue as a little pop of color. I like this!

Here’s a closer look.

THREADS MONTHLY APRIL 2016 - items 3

Giovi Magic Finish Cooked Powder Eyeshadow, #02 – value $1

This eyeshadow also works well as a highlighter. It’s a large-sized product (the sponge next to it is the size of a beauty blender), so that’s always great. Especially for $1.

Makeup Blending Sponge – value: $1.99

This is clearly a Beauty Blender wannabe. The shape is right, but I can definitely tell a difference in the sponge material. This one is stiffer and less porous. It didn’t blend as well as my Beauty Blender did.

THREADS MONTHLY APRIL 2016 - items 4

Ribbon & Chain Headband – value: $6.50

This headband has a lavender colored ribbon running through this headband. It’s very pretty and good for spring – I just don’t personally wear headbands.

THREADS MONTHLY APRIL 2016 - items 5

Heart T Shirt – value: $12.99

This tee fits very well and is comfortable! Unfortunately the graphic just isn’t my style – I don’t think I’ll reach for this much.

Verdict: Threads Monthly seems like a cute subscription; I’m curious to see what future boxes look like from them. As far as value goes, I calculate a value of about $42.50, which is good from a $25 (shipped) box! I think it’s clear you probably shouldn’t expect to see name brands from this box, but I think it’s not bad if you like getting some cute, miscellaneous accessories/tops, or for teens, even.

It looks like they are buying from China and making surprise boxes… Interesting, but I bet you could get all those things on aliexpress. I bought the beauty sponge for 45 cents!

I agree…..I have the same exact camera necklace but in red! The quality of these items don’t seem very good, and to me, not worth the $25.
