Stitch Fix is a monthly styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences, and then your personal stylist sends you 5 items to try once a month. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

Each box comes with cards with styling suggestions for every piece, plus a little note from your stylist.
And this is my invoice sheet. It lists the prices per item and the discount I’d receive by keeping all 5 items. With the 25% discount and my $20 styling fee factored in, this box would cost me a total of $287.50 to keep everything –$57.50 per item.
This is the first month that Stitch Fix is also offering shoes! I was so excited about this, but they only offer sizes 6-10, and I wear 11. They do have half sizes, though.
Crescent Rita Embroidered Tunic – Cost to Keep: $58
I really like this tunic – the cut and fit is fantastic for me, and I like the fabric. However, I’m not a huge fan of embroidery accents (or crochet – but both are in right now). If I liked everything in my box, I’d keep this. $58 is too much for me to spend on something I just don’t think I’ll reach for.
Tart Kaylie French Terry Blazer – Cost to Keep: $128
I was happy to see this blazer because I had actually pinned it! It’s incredible, and crazy soft and comfortable. It’s an expensive-feeling weight and it fits me well. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can justify the price tag. If I worked outside the home or needed a blazer more often than just as an occasional extra layer to an outfit, I totally would invest in it.
Kut from the Kloth Catherine Boyfriend Jean – Cost to Keep: $88
These boyfriend jeans are amazing. They fit great and feel comfortable. The only problem is… I already own these! I bought them from TrendSend a couple months ago. I have to at least give my stylist credit for hitting the nail on the head though. I’d totally buy these again if I didn’t already have a pair.
Alice Blue Lucio Henley Blouse – Cost to Keep: $48
This is another item I had pinned! This floral top is super pretty, and the cut is flattering. However, the pink is a very bright neon pink in person (it doesn’t show up as brightly in the photo), and I’m not a huge fan of sheer layers I need a cami under. I’m debating keeping it,
Gentle Fawn Tressie Shirt Dress – Cost to Keep: $88
I want to love this dress so badly. The floral is pretty, it’s fully lined, comfortable, and easy to wear, but I just don’t feel like the shape/design is doing me any favors – especially the crochet bib in the front. I think I might be too big in the chest for this to be very flattering. I think this dress would look amazing on someone with a smaller bust.
(FYI the hem isn’t asymmetrical – it’s just the wind blowing it/the way I’m standing that might make it look that way in the photo.)
Verdict: This month’s fix wasn’t as good as last month’s for me, but it was still great! I wish I knew I’d need the blazer enough to invest in it, the jeans I already had, the dress has some slight fit issues on my figure, I liked the tunic okay, and I think I might keep the floral top. So, all in all, I was pretty happy with it – there were just small caveats with most of the items that kept me from keeping them.
