Strawberry & Lemon Rooibos Herbal Tea - $6.00?

This was delicious.  There were actual strawberry pieces in the tea, which obviously gave it a great flavor.  There was no artificial flavoring taste (though I don't know if they use artificial flavoring, it just didn't taste artificial), and the flavor was really strong.  Simple Loose Leaf says that their teas are so fresh and high quality that you can steep your tea multiple times for more cups from the leaves!  Score!

Toasty Almond Black Tea - $6.00?

This was also delicious!  I could definitely taste the nutty flavor, and it complemented the black tea very nicely.  It stood up well to cream (which I always add to my black tea), and was just all around delicious.

Pu'er Black Fermented Tea - $6.00

I've never had fermented tea, so this was new to me.  They say that it can be "both medicinal and delicious, with a high caffeine content and soothing effects on the stomach."  I'm going to be honest: it smelled FUNKY, but it was really good!  I also added cream and sweetener (maple syrup this time!)  to this one, and it was really good.

Tropical Sunshine - Herbal Rooibos Tea - $6.00?

This was really great as well.  I thought this was going to be coconut-y/pineapple-y, since it was tropical, but it wasn't, and I was totally ok with that.  It was very fruity and refreshing, and would make a great iced tea (so would the strawberry and lemon tea!)

SLLT5

Chunmee Green Tea - $6.00?

I'm going to be honest - I haven't had a chance to try this one yet!  I've been traveling, and just didn't have time in two days to try all five teas.  I did smell it, and it smells a lot lighter than most green teas.  I like a few lighter green teas, so I am thinking I will enjoy this one a lot!

Muslin Tea Bags - $3.00?

These are nicely made, basic muslin tea bags.  They work really well for these teas - since many of them have smaller pieces, my normal tea steepers let a few of the leaves out - these obviously don't, which is awesome!

Verdict:  This box has an estimated value of $33.00, which is really great for the cost of the box.  Plus, loose leaf tea can be exorbitantly expensive, and this box is really reasonably priced for all the tea you get!  I loved each one of the teas that I tried - they were all delicious, not artificial tasting, and high enough quality that I can steep them more than once.

I hope you give this box a try if you like loose leaf tea!  It's excellent!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I had this subscription for over a year and totally enjoyed it. (I only cancelled to try other subscriptions) The teas were always tasty. I think in the whole time, I only had one that I didn’t care for, which is good odds. I would definitely recommend this subscription. And the teas aren’t weird like some others that are like steeping potpourri 😛 I’ll likely go back to this subscription in the future.

That Toasty Almond Black Tea sounds delicious! I would love to taste that.

I wish one of the tea subscriptions would come out with one that has all or primarily all decaffeinated teas for those of us who cannot consume caffeine. I am a tea drinker and would love a box like that.

Right there with you on that one, Cindy!

6.00$ seems like a high estimate for a quarter oz of tea but it doesn’t look like they have their shop up to compare. I usually pay about 6-12$ for 2 oz of tea at the local tea shops here, but there is some value in trying a bunch of different flavors.
