This box came shipped in a really nice box. It's the little things sometimes! It's a drawer pull out box, and came in a clear mailing envelope. The design of the box is really pretty too!
I received a small teaspoon and biodegradable tea bags to use with the loose leaf tea. I really appreciate the fact that they include a way to steep the loose leaf tea, in case their subscribers don't have access to a tea steeper.
This is a review of the "Frequent Cup" box. I'm guessing on the values here, since not all of the tea is for sale on Rosali Tea's website. I've tried to cross reference with similar teas where possible!
Lemon Ginger Squeeze Blended Herbal Tea - $9.99?
This tea is very flavorful and I love it. I tend to drink herbal teas when I'm sick or when my allergies are acting up and I need something soothing. This is very strongly flavored with ginger, but I love ginger, so again, this was a win for me. The ingredients listed on the package are organic rooibos, organic honeybush, organic lemongrass, organic ginger, and organic lemon verbena. No flavors were listed, but it's kind of obvious by the name!
Sencha Kanaya-Midori Cutivar - $11.99?
I am not the biggest fan of green teas, so I'm not really a fair judge here. This is very strong green tea, and I'm sure you'll love it if you like green tea. The ingredient listed here is just sencha. The flavors listed on the package are strawberries, umami, and creamed spinach.
Masala Chai - $11.99?
I enjoyed this chai blend! The ingredients listed are: organic black assam tea, cardamom, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, pepper, and fennel. There are no flavors listed. I shook this bag up a bit, because it looked like it was very separated in the bag.
Verdict: I really loved this box. First of all, the packaging is top notch, and I could tell that the tea was very high quality. I received 2 ounces total of the teas, and the tea can be steeped more than once since the tea is such high quality. Rosali Tea says that the 2 ounces of tea I received should brew 30 initial cups, with the possibility to re-brew the leaves. I don't think I personally will get 30 cups out of the tea, but much of that is because I don't use loose leaf very often, and I think I use too much for each cup. I'm sure I'll get better at this!
As far as the value goes, I definitely found the value of the tea worth the $19.95 price. Loose leaf tea can be very pricey, and many times if you purchase from the store the tea isn't as fresh as it could be. Plus, the only loose leaf place around me is a very popular one that you're probably thinking of, and I don't always like their artificial flavors, so this is a great alternative!
Have you tried Rosali Tea yet? I think you should!
