Plum Deluxe Tea of the Month Club is a monthly tea subscription. Every month they send you hand-blended teas made from certified organic and fair trade ingredients. They have no artificial chemicals or added sweeteners.
There are two subscription plans: one tea or two teas per month. One tea costs $10 per month and includes a 1 ounce blend (about 15-20 cups) and a sample tea blend enough for 1-2 cups. Two teas cost $16 per month and includes two 1 ounce blends (about 30-40 cups) and the sample blend. There are also options for caffeine-free or herbal tea subscriptions for the $10 plan.
Good to know: Plum Deluxe charges quarterly, so you pay for three months' subscription up front. The subscription not only includes tea shipments but also a private Facebook community, recipes, quarterly gift exchanges and tea swaps, free or discount tickets to Plum Deluxe affiliated events, free shipping on all purchases, and other club-only discounts.

Raspberry Earl Grey 1oz - $7
The featured tea this month is a blend of black tea, raspberries, orange peels, blue cornflowers, bergamot oil, raspberry essence, and raspberry leaf (and love and gratitude). I know I said this for last month's teas too, but I'm so mesmerized by the sweet aroma! If there's a reed diffuser or body spray that smells like this I would snatch it up ASAP. The raspberry flavor was amazing too. I tried this tea hot and cold, and both ways taste refreshingly delicious. After the tea was steeped enough I could chew on the raspberry seeds that float to the top-- that was probably my favorite part.
Royale Honeybush Tea sample
I've never had honeybush tea before! Honeybush, or Cyclopia, is a type of plant that grows in South Africa. This caffeine-free tea is made with organic honeybush tea, Malva flowers, and safflower. It tastes lighter than the Raspberry Earl Grey and has a hint of sweetness. I could only get one cup out of the sample, but if I had more I would try it with cream and sugar! Since I steep teas directly in the cup, I chewed on a lot of small floaty bits from the Royale Honeybush blend. Totally own my fault though. I guess it's time to invest in a good tea strainer.
Verdict: Once again I'm very happy with the blends from Plum Deluxe Tea of the Month Club. The Raspberry Earl Grey is aromatic and delicious; it now tops my list of current favorite teas. I also really enjoyed drinking honeybush tea for the first time. The total value is $7 and change. I consider the extra $3 from the subscription as a premium for all the extra subscription features like free shipping, club-only discounts, private Facebook group, and recipes. If you find value in all the bonus features then this subscription would be awesome. Plum Deluxe also offers 3, 6, and 12-month gift subscriptions, so this would be a good gift for upcoming Mother's Day!
