Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - the ring shirt

The Ring Shirt – Value $10?

This month’s exclusive shirt showcases the creepy girl from The Ring. Pretty straight forward design, which I like!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - pven mit and squishy figure

Zombie Oven Mitt – Value $10?

Last month saw the Nintendo Power Glove mitt in Arcade Block and this month gives us a zombie hand mitt. I like this idea for a mitt as well, but hopefully, one oven mitt per box is enough – although, I wouldn’t complain if I get a Freddy Krueger hand mitt…

Zombie Squeeze – Value $1 on Amazon (based on set of 4)

The next item is this little zombie stress ball. Today is a perfect day for a new stress ball for me!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - zombie backscratch and walking dead figure

Zombie Hand Back Scratcher – Value $5?

The next item is a zombie back scratcher. I was actually looking for one of these a couple of weeks ago, so I guess I need to keep it around for next time I’m in need!

Walking Dead Blind Bag Figure – Value $5.96 on Amazon

This is another addition to my new McFarlane tiny Walking Dead series! I’m kind of hooked now – there are also little sets where you can put your built characters into a scene. I’m not there yet, but the need to collect might build to that, I can’t lie.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - Morgan figure

I got an armored Morgan.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - door stop

Zombie Door Stop – Value $10-15?

I thought this was the coolest of the exclusives this month.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - door stop side

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - door stop front

I thought that it would just be a foot or something before opening the box, but I’m glad to see a little crawling zombie as the stop!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - magazine and dog tags

Rue Morgue

As always, the latest Rue Morgue.

Bonus Item: Zombie Hunter Dog Tags – Value $5.99

We also received this in October of last year.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon March 2016 - dog tags

They’re the same as the last set that I received, so nothing different to collect.

Verdict: This month’s Horror Block was ok, but nothing exciting for me. I feel as though the boxes have been getting better, and they’ve now sent some new iterations of their exclusive items, so that’s good, but the only item I was really excited for was the mini figure. I think this was one of the months that just wasn’t for me, personally.

What did you think of the March Horror Block?

  1. This box was my first so I was excited. While not a huge Ring fan I did enjoy the shirt. The mitt I thought was great especially since I needed it. The stress zombie went to my kid. The back scratcher is great my cat for some reason is terrified of it. The dog tags were pretty cheap. All in all it just makes me more excited for my next box to arrive.

  2. This block disappointed me. I like the magazine and the ring shirt but could do without the rest. I have been disappointed by the last three boxes. Just call it zombie block as it has been mostly zombie items the last two months. I am cancelling my subscription. I like funko products, classic horror movies, and would like to see more of a variety from different movies. 30 Days of Night, etc. would be really cool. I saw Hellraiser item in the next block – this could be exciting but I would hate to be disappointed. Get exclusives people actually would find value in please.

  3. I received the heard walker Female 3. #13b. Overall not to bad a box this month.

  4. This looks like it will be one of my favorite horror blocks! I’m glad to have another oven mitt after the Nintendo one, now I have a set! The doorstop looks so awesome and so does the squeeze ball- I can’t wait to put it on my desk at work! I’m also excited about the t-shirt, I saw the Ring when I was 16 and it scared the bejeezus out of me. The back scratcher will be a hit at home, and I can’t wait to add another Walking Dead figure to my shelf! I’ve been cutting down my subs but this one will always be the one I keep 🙂

  5. Omg the zombie door stop is the best in the box. Never seen one yet.
