It also comes with a Geek Guide mini mag. I cannot wait for Civil War (and all the related subscription boxes)!

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon April 2016 - shirt

Cap and Iron Man Rock ’em Sock ’em Shirt – Value $10?

I really liked this month’s shirt! Of course, this is a nod to Civil War, but I love the little details – like ‘Fogwell’s Gym’ in Hell’s Kitchen!

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon April 2016 - stormtrooper and coasters

First Order Stormtrooper Bobblehead – Value $11.49 on Amazon

There were two possible bobbleheads this month – this Stormtrooper or a Flametrooper, both from The Force Awakens. This is the same style as the Ant-Man Bobblehead I received in Powered Geek Box in July.

Now to find a spot in the collection!

The Doctor Travels Through Art History Coaster Set – Value $5-10?

This was an exclusive this month. It’s essentially just popular art pieces as a coaster but branded with a Doctor Who box.

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon April 2016 - coasters

Here are the coasters. They are nice coasters – they’re on the large side with a cork bottom.

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon April 2016 - comic and steam game

Bonus Captain America Sticker – Value $1?

Fallen A2P Protocol Steam Game – Value $20

We get a higher value game this month, and it looks really cool. This was a successful Kickstarter campaign to boot, which is neat. Bonus points for it being compatible with Windows and Mac, I feel like they’ve been really mindful of that lately!

Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Year 2 #1 – Value $3.99

This is a variant cover, and you could have possibly received a black and white/hand drawn variant cover that was limited to 1,500 copies! Anyone out there lucky enough to get this variant? A lot of me fears to start Doctor Who because of how much I’d have to catch up on!

Verdict: This was a good month, not great, for Geek Fuel. I liked the items, and I feel like maybe it lost a little bit of its unboxing magic with the Steam game being the highest valued item. That’s not a knock on the box, it’s simply my first impression when photographing it – almost like I was waiting for one more item. A lot of that comes with me comparing it to last month, which I felt was really strong. That being said, the value is certainly there and I like the items!

  1. Love this month box.
i got the special edition doctor who comic, but little disappointed i like better the color one.
i felt like suppose to be more captain america exclusive items. hope next month will be something.

  2. This is my first Geek Fuel box and I loved it. £20 including delivery to the UK and I will use all the items.

I received a black and white variant (#1298) and I am a massive Dr Who fan so this and the coasters work well for me.

I am seeing Civil War on Friday night and will be wearing this shirt!

  3. I am one of the lucky 1500, number 767 to be precise. I really like that it came with a certificate of authenticity. I love the bobble head, and like the coasters enough that I might frame them together to hang on the wall. While the nod to Civil War was expected the T-shirt comes in at a Meh. I don’t have time for all the Steam games, but at least one of my boys will use it. This is my 3rd Geekfuel so far and am happy with the box.

  4. My husband loved this months box. Shirt was a big win as well as the bobblehead.

  5. I just got my box and I received a black and white cover. It’s glorious! LOL. It has a certificate included and apparently I got #11.

  6. I should be getting my box next week or so, and the one thing I’m not a fan of is Doctor Who (never watched it/no interest) but the coasters are literally the only thing I like in this months box ): Hopefully my boyfriend will at least enjoy the bobblehead.

  7. I would love to trade someone for the Dr. Who coasters.

    • I would definitely trade something for the coasters. They are the only thing in the box I don’t want or need.
