Eternally in Amber is a new bi-monthly subscription box that focuses on hair accessories!  This is a review of the Deluxe Box.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review.   (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Eternally in Amber Deluxe Box

The Cost:  $25.00 for the Deluxe Box, and $15 for the Basic Box  (Discounts available for longer subscriptions).  I went through the checkout process to find out shipping information.  To ship to my house, it's $1.99.  I'm not sure if this varies though, so be sure to check if you're thinking about this box!

COUPON:  New subscribers can receive $10 off any Deluxe Box subscription (basic box subscriptions not included) after you sign up here to receive the coupon code before 4/18/16.  When you go to the site, there will be a gold popup with this information too!

The Products:  Trendy hair accessories, sent to you every month!

Ships:  This box ships to the United States, and Internationally for an additional fee.

I am so excited about this box.  I've been looking for hair boxes forever, and for a while they just didn't exist.  A few of them are cropping up now, but this one looked awesome because it wasn't just product - it had accessories!

This box ships bi-monthly, and there are a limited amount of March boxes available in the online shop after April 1st (there are different color options available too!)  The deadline to sign up for May's Summer themed box is April 19th for both the Deluxe and Basic Subscriptions.

Tortoise Shell Floral Ponytail Cuff - $12.00

This is a gorgeous ponytail cuff, and the ponytail holder seems really sturdy.  I think this would hold up for a long time!  It was difficult to get a good picture of the detail of the cuff, but I hope this shows some of it!

Mini Black Dotted Banana Clip - $8.00

This is really pretty, but my hair might be a bit too much for it.  It is pretty small, and I don't know how I would use it with all my hair, even if I just used it for a section!  Again, it's very pretty, but this is going to either go up for swap or to a friend with a little girl that can use this!

Black/Gold Swirl Side Comb - $10.00

This and the barrettes below are tied for my favorite items in the box.  This is so pretty, and again, it's so sturdy that it is going to last a very long time.  I might use it when I do an up-do (everyday) to keep my new growth from falling out the back of my bun!

White/Cream Swirl Studded Hair Barrettes - $12.00 ($6.00/each)

These are absolutely gorgeous, and I love the color.  The cream and gold will stand out against my hair nicely, and they hold a lot of hair.  They're definitely going to be accent hair accessories for me, rather than functional (my hair doesn't stay back with just a little barrette), but I will enjoy using these!

This was a fun (and yummy) extra thrown in!  I always love getting candy!

Verdict:  I loved this box from Eternally in Amber.  I think that there is definitely a market for hair accessory boxes (or hair boxes in general), and I'm excited to see someone stepping in to fill that need (er, or want).  Everything I've received has been very high quality, and it's all still holding up after use.  I look forward to see what the next box brings!  The value of this shipment is about  $42.00, which is great for a $25.00 box.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I should do more with my hair — I just wear it down every day. It decides on its own whether it wants to be straight or wavy on any given day. But I never use accessories. Maybe I should start.

… Do people still use banana clips?

Yes, you can do an easy half-up do or clip back the sides, with some texture and teasing it can look modern and pretty. I get this box and it is easily one of my favorites, and certainly one most used.
