Bullymake Box is a monthly subscription box for power chewers. You all have heard about (and seen) some of Nyx’s exploits with plush toys from dog subscription boxes so when I heard about this one, I had to sign up immediately. Nyx is definitely a power chewer! You pick your dog’s weight in 10-pound increments so this is a box for an 80-pound dog (Nyx weighs about 84 right now).
My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Bullymake Box
The Cost: $39 a month (save with 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions)
COUPON: Save $5 off your first box by joining their mailing list (it was a pop-up when I visited the site).
The Products: Toys and treats specifically tailored for heavy chewing dogs (no plushes). You can also choose a “toys only” box. Because of Nyx’s dietary issues, I went with the “toys only” box. You can also enter specific allergy information in a box on the checkout screen.
Ships to: USA (free!)

This is the first month Bullymake Box has included an information card. It featured one of the toys included in the box.
Petstages Deerhorn Chew – Value $21.99
I am pretty sure this is the large version of this toy. It has real antler in it although it is supposed to be safer than chewing on real antlers. Nyx thought it was pretty awesome and she will get to play with it more than once (which like never happens).
Flavorit Breath Toy (mint infused, size XL) – Value $10.99
This is supposed to promote healthy gums and fresh breath. Nyx could use some help in the breath department (I think it is a side effect of her medications) so we will see. Nyx definitely enjoys hard nylon chew toys like this.
Nylabone Dura Chew Textured Ring – Value $7.19
Nyx had one of these before. She liked it a lot. The only thing to watch out for is sometimes it can get a little sharp once a dog has chewed on it a lot. So just watch out for that and take it away if needed.
Starmark Durafoam Ball (large) – Value $4.45
These apparently float which I will never be able to test out because Nyx, like many Rotties, hates water. What I like about it is that it doesn’t have a coating (like a tennis ball) since Nyx likes balls but she also likes to eat the coatings of tennis balls.
Multipet Nuts for Knots Tug with 2 Danglers – Value $7 (?)
This is a new offering from Multipet and not easy to find online just yet. I think a little thicker rope would be nice although Nyx should be able to enjoy this for at least a little while!
Here’s Nyx enjoying the antler toy.
Verdict: I calculated a value of a little over $51 for the April 2016 Bullymake Box. Even if I am wrong about the size of the antler toy and/or the value of the rope toy, it is over the cost of the box. We have discovered some new items and gotten another of an old favorite and we still haven’t received any repeat products, which is great.
What do you think of the April 2016 Bullymake Box? Do you subscribe to any dog or cat boxes?
