Beauteque-BB-March-2016-Info-Card

It looks like Beauteque ships out their monthly subscription in two batches. I receive my boxes at the very end of each month. March's theme is "Moisturizing Mix & More."

Beauteque-BB-March-2016-1

The Face Shop Daegwallyong Fresh Milk Cream - $15 (sold for $10 on The Face Shop NY)

This is a huge tub of face and body lotion! Daegwallyong is a mountain pass in South Korea. While I appreciate the sheer volume of this lotion, winter weather is just about finished where I live. I'll probably store this for next winter when my skin is feeling dry again.

Beauteque-BB-March-2016-2

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream - $12.99

Snail continues to be a dominant ingredient in many K-beauty products. This Mizon eye cream contains snail secretion filtrate, adenosine, peptides and EGF to help combat the appearance of dark circles and promote skin regeneration. Just a little dab of cream is enough for my undereye area so this tube will last for months and months.

CosRx Acne Pimple Master Patch - $4.80

I have used these before-- they are the best. These pimple patches are hydrocolloid bandages that have been pre-cut into three different sized circles. They're like adhesive stickers that suck out gunk from your pimples. There are 24 stickers in each sheet. I stick a patch on any angry pimples right before bed. In the morning you can see that yucky stuff from the inflamed pimple has been absorbed into the patch itself. Blemishes look less red and feel less painful just from one night of use. Also, seeing tangible evidence of all the gunk that was once inside my skin feels both gross and cathartic.

The March theme is about moisture and hydration, and even though the pimple patches really have little to do with the theme, I love this item to pieces.

Ladykin Glow Lipstick in 07 Daily Pink - $8.50

I received this in the shade Daily Pink. The lipstick feels moisturizing and lightweight. It smells sweet like candy. The shade isn't really my style, it's a little too bright and coral on me, but I love the emollient formula. I can totally see other people pulling this color off with spring and summer outfits.

Egg Brush Cleaner - $8

This egg-shaped brush cleaner is so fun to use! It kind of uses the same technique as a washboard to lather and deep clean makeup brushes. The whole thing is made of rubber and all you have to do is slip the egg cleaner onto your fingers and run the ridges over your brushes to give them a well-deserved cleansing. This makes brush cleaning a lot more effective than just using fingers.

Urban Dollkiss Velvety Skin Triple Mini BB Cream in M21 - $12

This can't be a full-sized BB cream, right? Subscribers receive either the Velvety Skin Triple Mini BB cream or the A to Z All in One cream. The BB cream claims to moisturize skin, blur the appearance of flaws, control sebum production, and get you a flawless looking finish. The swatch (below) looks too yellow on my skin but once you blend it in the shade looks closer to my true skin tone. This might be the only shade sent out, though, so I'm not sure how Beauteque is going to accommodate for lighter or darker skin tones.

Beauteque-BB-March-2016-7

This is the March bag. I like how sturdy and roomy the bag is, it's much larger than my ipsy ones.

Verdict: March's Beauteque BB Bag was great! I really liked the egg brush cleaner and the CosRx pimple patches are a must-have in my routine, so I'm happy to receive one more. The total value is $61.29 without accounting for the bag. March's curation was impressively well-rounded even if they didn't all fit the theme. I got a 6-month subscription with a 25% promotion discount, so I paid $21.20 this month. I recommend this subscription if you want to discover full-sized K-beauty, and especially if you can get it with a coupon!
