Sklz Accuball Trigger Release Massage Ball – value: $19.99

I’m excited about this massage ball! I have actually been wanting something like this but haven’t gotten around to finding one to order. It has 2 densities for massage use – the side with the same density as a lacrosse ball is the side you’re supposed to use with bodyweight, and the golf ball side is meant for handheld use.

Sweat Cosmetics Translucent Mineral Powder Kit – value: $42

This was the spoiler item for March! It’s a portable mineral powder + brush all-in-one. I’ll explain more below…

Gorilla Paw Liquid Chalk – 2 oz, value: $9

This is an interesting product – it’s liquid chalk! Although I have to say I think they could do better with their packaging… I had no idea that’s what it was until I Googled it – it doesn’t say anywhere on the bottle what it is.

Here’s the mineral powder kit. The white cylinder is the twist brush and the black lid is the cartridge of mineral powder.

BARBELLA BOX MARCH 2016 - ITEMS 5

Here are all the pieces. The way it works is you open the powder cartridge and put it in the bottom of the brush. Then it disperses the product as you shake and use it. I think it’s a great, portable, all-in-one product to toss in your gym bag, purse, or even diaper bag.

Here’s the card that came with it to explain how it works.

BPI Sports 1.M.R. Vortex Pre-Workout Powder, Fruit Punch – two, 2-serving samples, value: $1.67

BPI Sports Best Aminos Fruit Punch Muscle Recovery Dietary Supplement Powder – two, 1-serving samples, value: $1.35

I haven’t tried these because I’m breastfeeding, but I like that they included both a pre-workout supplement and a post-workout supplement.

Raw Rev Glo Dark Chocolate Cashew & Mint – 2 bars, value: $3.67

These are peanut-free and gluten-free protein bars. I gave one to my husband to try and he says he liked them! I like that they not only have a lot of protein but also have low sugar – that can be hard to find in protein bars sometimes.

BARBELLA BOX MARCH 2016 - ITEMS 9

BarBella Box also included a couple samples for featured products and a little hair tie.

Verdict: I’m happy with my first BarBella Box. The value comes out to $77.68, which is a good value, and I think they included some new and interesting (and practical) products!
