This month’s theme is “Miniature!” My eight-year-old is into all things teeny, so I knew right away he would love this!

“Shortcake Party” T-shirt – Value $10?

Check out this cute t-shirt! My son loved it! It’s really soft, too.

Kirby Stressball – Value $3?
(I couldn’t find this online for sale.)

My son seriously loves Kirby, so he was excited to get this! I think the most I have ever spent on a video game was getting a copy of Kirby’s Return to Dream Land (for Wii) for my little one when it had gone out of production.

Baby Luigi Plushie – Value $9.99

He was also very psyched to find a Baby Luigi in his box! He plays Super Smash Bros. nonstop, plus all those other Mario games!

Yoshi Egg Coaster – Value $2?

This is another character he totally loves! I recently needle felted him a red Yoshi for New Hobby Box because that’s just how much he loves Yoshi! He wasn’t thrilled about getting a coaster, but it’s on the shelf in his room on display.

In the middle of this picture is the pin for this month’s theme, and on the right is a Minions Decal. Everyone in my family loves the Minions – how could anyone not love them?

Ant-Man Drawstring Bag – Value – $5?

I don’t think the kids have seen Ant-Man yet, but my son liked the bag anyway. He used it to put a lot of his nerd swag in!

Verdict: I think 1Up Box is awesome! My son was very excited that it had all his favorite characters in it, and he recognized every one! It’s great for younger fans. I had to take guesses at many of the values, so I’m not too sure, but I think the overall value does outstrip the cost of the box by a few dollars, so I’m happy with that.

What do you think of 1Up Box?
