WHITE WILLOW MARCH 2016 - info 1

Each box comes with a fold-out card that lists and describes each featured item, as well as their values.

WHITE WILLOW MARCH 2016 - info 2

WHITE WILLOW MARCH 2016 - items 1

Lindo Konjac Sponge (Vegan and Cruelty Free) – value: $15CAD/$11.30USD

I learned about konjac sponges when I started working at Sephora. I like them; they balance the pH in your skin and act as a gentle exfoliant that you can use every day.

Lollia “Breathe” by Margot Elena Perfumed Shower Gel – 8 oz, value: $30CAD/$22USD

This shower gel is great! It smells delicious and the packaging is really pretty, too. The fragrance is infusions of ruffle peony, white lily, grapefruit, and sweet orange. The formula also has bee balm, shea and mango butter, and avocado oil.

WHITE WILLOW MARCH 2016 - items 2

Mudlark Memento Boxed Notes in Rue St-Germain – 20 ct, value: $18CAD/$13.50USD

These are pretty and springy! I like florals, and I’ve found that I really like to have blank notes and cards on hand because I don’t have to dig to find the “right occasion” card if I need to pick one out last minute.

Mini Lindt Chocolate Bunnies – 3 pieces, value: $3 USD

These are so cute! They’re little mini chocolate bunnies and they’re even hollow like the big ones. Lindt is my favorite chocolate brand, and I thought these were a really cute bonus treat for March. I’m always happy to get chocolate in my boxes!

WHITE WILLOW MARCH 2016 - items 3

Here’s a look at what the cards look like themselves. Just like the top of the box. I also like that I can repurpose the box, because it’s pretty and decorative.

WHITE WILLOW MARCH 2016 - items 4

Organic Infused Basil Oil By La Tourangelle Artisan Oils (Non GMO) – 8.45 oz, value: $12CAD/$9USD

These two items are my favorite things in this month’s box! I’m really excited about this oil. You can use it as a dipping oil, salad dressing, paired with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, grilled chicken or fish, drizzled on pasta, pizza, or grilled bread. It has my mouth watering!

Oil Serving Dish – value: $6CAD/$3.80USD

This oil serving dish is really pretty. The grape design is interesting and the info card shows how you can use balsamic vinegar in the indent of each grape of the design to make a cool design when you serve your dipping oil!

Verdict: Again, I’m really impressed with White Willow! I really like the items they curated this month. The value adds up to approximately $62.60 USD – I’m happy with that value! I think White Willow is doing great as a new box and I’m excited to see future boxes.

They’re sold out of both, sadly, but was considering ordering a 6-month sub to try it out…until I read the shipping cost under FAQs…$20 CAD? Is that per box? The review said it was about $12.50 CAD…which seems fair. Did the shipping costs increase? Anybody know?

Hmmm, I very well may get this sub. I had been seeing it for months on the Internet, however I must say I didn’t order based on prices. The prices have been listed higher, as well as the shipping Canada versus US, so that was why I didn’t. Now you have me confused, lol. Based on comments below I will go with the must be around $40 for USA, because I kept reading around $50 for USA being it was a Canadian based sub. I have loved every month I have seen and next month spoiler is up as pearl earrings so I will probably wait until May.

I think you have the exchange rate conversion backwards. The exchange rate is actually more favorable for the American dollar meaning the price in USD will always be lower than CAD so long as the exchange rate stays within the existing range. The total sub price comes to $35 including shipping, plus maybe a currency conversion fee by your credit card if they charge them (mine doesn’t). I haven’t seen this priced at $50 USD anywhere and have never paid more than $35 since I subbed so I think you can feel confident about the price being nearer to $35 not $40-$50.

Erin,
Thank you so much for your reply. Yeah I admit I never bothered to figure it out. I was interested to see what was coming out of Canada and found a Canadian reviewer site. I’m pretty sure she was just listing Canadian currency then and not converting. Definitely going to sub this box the because I absolutely love what I have seen.

This was my first month with this box, and I really liked everything in it. I’ve already used one of the cards to send my daughter-in-law a prenatal massage gift card, and of course the chocolates were gone the very first day.

A few things I want to ad: I got the same shower gel, It smells very strong and perfumy. If you sub there is a chance you will be charged an international currency conversian fee. Mine is less then $2 yet it does ad to the price of the sub. All fees are in canadian dollars so in usa dollars its cheaper. Do a currency convertor to see apx what the exact fee will be each month. Last time I checked it was around $40 + and an additional $2 that the CC charges.

I like this box much more then popsugar, the value might not be as high as popsugar, yet the curation is there, and the items are different as well as the value being there.

What a nice box! I’ve been a fan of Lollia since I got some shower gel in a PS box and that olive oil and dish set is pretty great.

Really liked this month’s box! And those notecards come in four different designs. I had to contact them last month with an issue and their Customer Service was wonderful.

I received my first box this month and really like it. Keeping this one for the time being. I used the oil on lemon pepper pasta and it was delicious!
