The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. All of their products are vegan (and they tend to be natural, too). They also typically include a nice mix of full size and sample beauty items.
Vegan Cuts provided us with this box at no cost for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Vegan Cuts Beauty Box
The Cost: $22.95 on a month-to-month basis
The Products: Each box contains a mix of 4-7 full and sample size cruelty-free beauty must-haves, ranging from cosmetics to skincare to haircare. All items are void of toxic ingredients and animal byproducts.
Ships to: US for free, Canada for $9, and worldwide for $15.

Each Vegan Cuts Beauty Box comes with an information card detailing the items for that month.
Everclen Eye Cream (0.5 oz) – Value $13.99
This has a higher MSRP but it is going for around $14 on Amazon and other sites. We received another Everclen product in the Vegan Cuts beauty box a few months back. One thing I like about the brand is that it is really good for sensitive skin. I can get away with some harsh treatments on my facial skin, but my eye area is much more delicate. This absorbs well and it has some plant extracts to provide antioxidants.
Pacifica Tunisian Jasmine Lime Rollerball (0.33 fl oz) – Value $12
I like a lot of Pacifica scents (definitely more than Harvey Prince!). I actually already had this same rollerball from a gift set I bought from Pacifica a month or two ago, and I am using the jasmine lime body butter right now, so this is definitely going to get layered. It has an exotic scent; I’m not detecting the lime note alone but I think it is there as part of the blend.
October Fields Chamomile and Clover Tea Light – Value $1.25
This is a nice little extra. It’s made from soy wax, has a good, light floral scent for spring (doesn’t smell like chamomile tea at all), and it burned for about 3 hours.
Dermorganic Color Care 8 Way Thermal Spray (2 fl oz) – Value $3.25
This was on sale at Ulta (where I took the price from). I was a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to find this brand again as I’d never heard of it before, but I’m glad to discover it is sold somewhere I shop a lot. I don’t heat style or blow dry my hair, but this was a good detangler and my hair is very smooth and soft after using this and last month’s hair serum for a few days. (My hair *is* color-treated.)
Shea Radiance Black Soap Body Cleanser (59 mL) – Value $2.21
This was pretty gentle and it didn’t strip the moisture from my skin. I know that black soap really cleans the pores on my face well, so I hope this is doing something similar for my skin. (I do use a lot more than the recommended dime-sized amount, though…) This is free of sulfates and instead uses saponified natural oils. And it smells like peppermint!
Earthlab Cosmetics Vegan Mineral Pencil – Value $14.40
We got a mascara from this brand a few months ago. What I liked about that was how gentle it was on my eyes. This pencil is the same way – non-irritating, but it lasts a long time. Please note: I found prices all over the place for this item so I picked something kind of near the middle.
And hear is a swatch of the pencil. They make this in other colors and I sort of wish I’d gotten an interesting color instead of another black (I am all about funky eyeliner colors lately). I had to scrub to get this off my arm.
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $47.10 for this month’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. That is a little lower than past months although some of the items were on sale at various online stores, which brings down the prices from the information card a bit. (The calculated value is still more than twice the cost of the subscription.) More important to me, however, is the usefulness of the items. I actually liked every item from the box and there weren’t any misses for me.
