Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often.
When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out. You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month. If you don't choose one by the cut off date, they will send you the scent of the month. Next month it is Lisa Hoffman Tuscan Fig.
Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment. You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee.
When you subscribe to Scentbird, you'll get a $15.00 "credit" each month to buy a full sized bottle of cologne - this doesn't look like it is cumulative, and seems more like a member's discount.
Scentbird has also introduced a new a la carte service. You can choose any cologne you want, with each spray being just $16.95 plus shipping (shipping is free if you order 3 or more sprays). The cases are sold separately.
This month, I chose a perfume that I've never tried in store before, and wasn't sure what to expect: Clean - Warm Cotton. The notes are citrus, green pear, verbena, floral, marine, and fruit essences, jasmine, orange flower, musk, fougere, and amber. Sephora pretty much nails it when they describe it as "just-out-of-the-dryer-freshness." I kept smelling my wrists and telling my husband: "I smell like fabric softener!" It is a very clean, crisp scent that I would choose to wear on a day that I didn't want to smell perfume-y, but wanted some scent. I like it, but I'm not completely sure yet that I would purchase a full size.
Verdict: The value of my perfume this month comes out to about $10.80. I have a habit of picking the lower value ones I guess! I will definitely use this vial up, but like I said earlier, I am not 100% sure I would purchase a full size of this. It is really nice though for days when I don't want to smell strongly. It's very fresh and clean and I love it! I like the size of these vials because they're perfect for travel, and they're cheaper than rollerballs (I prefer a spritz anyway!).
Have you tried Scentbird yet? What scent did you get this month?
